I have recently been showing some people I know information regarding The US' deceit and control over the people, and the harsh realities of what is going on - at least, what we think is actually going on. And their argument against it is - it's too late. Bush won, the war's raging on. Everything's set in motion. There's nothing we can do about it, what's it matter learning about all this stuff happening in secret? What do you guys think about that response?
Well, they are pretty much right about not being able to do anything about it. But, that doesn't mean we should all sink into nihilism.
It does seem hopeless at times, but we definitely should not give up, and certainly should not stop informing ourselves to the best of our ability.
Yea, reading is the best thing we can do for our brains. It keeps us in a continually state of learning.
