Just curious, how many people have tried meperidine, and how does the high compare with other substances? For me: - 25 mg, mild euphoria, happiness - 50 mg, euphoria, hapiness, effects wear off completely after 24 hrs - 100mg, strong euphoria and happiness, ability to sit and stare and computer screen for hours without moving or doing anything, waves of pleasure throughout the body, effects felt up to 48 hrs - 150mg, incoherence, near-delirium The comedown is extremely gradual and smooth, and no hangover or side effects ever. No craving. This was my experience over one year.

Oh my bad -I should have posted in the Opiate section. Demerol is a synthetic opioid though that's why I posted here. Spicey Cat, can you elaborate? What were you addicted to? Did you do demerol?
Various opiates, muscle relaxants, SSRI antidepressants, etc. In a medical context (perhaps didn't work well b/c was NOT recreational dosing) had a number of IM injections, i believe 50 mgs per, but frequently stacked over a short period to be up to 150 mgs. Didn't deliver the opiate buzz i got from medical IV administration of morphine as well as medical oral dosing of various opiates as well as recreational dosing of various opiates. Wish i had gotten the effects listed at the top - that would have been quite something.
I did it when I used to do drugs like that. It's nice. I usually went the IM route with it, but like any other opiate, tolerance builds quickly and it's easy to get addicted.
Yeah, demerol sucks. Got a good amount free years ago, and never got much effect from it. Was one of the most painful things I've ever snorted though lol.
LOVE IT!!! I have only taken it under medical supervision...in the hospital when my kids were born, a gall bladder surgery and wisdom teeth removal. I have only happy memories of those procedures thanks to demerol. It is best mixed with phenergan (promethazine) to alleviate or prevent any nausea, but they ususlly already mix them together in the hospital.
Wait so most of you guys got powdered form??? I always had it in liquid form in a bottle for hypodermic needles.
I have had the powder, from mepregan capsule=mepredine+phenegran(promethazine), and liquid form, I was a heavy opiate user and even heroin as well, and it took me 300mg's to get started with on demerol..I take it you are not a opaite user much, I remember when I was a teenager and had my wisdom teeth taken out, they put my under with a shot of Dilaudid,and a shot of Valium,and some other shit, and sent me home with a big bottle of 100 mg Demerol tablets, One tablet would have me feeling good back then, and two tablets(200mg) would have me high...lol..I remember back when I was 13 or 14 when I took a 10mg hydrocodone and went on the nod!! lol..Then I took 2- 10 mg hydrocodones the next day and felt sick almost threw up!! Even now with rare opaite use, a 10mg hydrocodone would not even fell it! I would still have to take 30-40mg of hydrocodone to get a buzz, and I'm not addicted to opiates anymore!!
