LSD tests (interesting)

The reason I say its interesting is because I haven't seen a post like this anywhere. This should go to erowid!

Anyways, I got some cid from a friend that you guys most likely know and wanted to see if its really cid. I was thinking about buying a testing kit. But like all I'm too lazy, but not lazy enough to not do a little research. So, I bought a black light.

Word of mouth (trustworthy) is that there is no taste. It is perforated (another good sign) frog blotter with a black background (perfect). Here are my pics.

From top left down to top right down, MDAI, MDPV, Butylone, Ethcathinone, and Dimethocaine. I put the pen cap to show something else black.

Its not glowing so bright as to be 1-5mg of a glowing chemical, but enough to glow a nice faint glow. 1) This is probably acid. 2) The other chems don't glow under black light, so now we all know that. 3) The acid is glowing way more than the counter which is brown. Oh, the glow coming from the bags is the tag on front which is white.

uv glows are pretty. acid is beautiful

 

Interesting. i was led to believe that almost all indole rings flouresce under black light.

Just like I always said, LSD glows a bluish-white, in contrast to the bright white of the paper labels.

Coolest is to check out a sugar cube with a couple of drops of liquid on it. You can see into the cube and see just how the LSD permeated it.

 

I don't see anything glowing except the perforation and artwork...

 

i think the artwork is ink and therefore does not absorb any LSD. only the white part of the artwork is glowing. thus we only see the lsd that is peaking out of the edges glowing.

 

You don't see how the bottom right hit that is totally black is glowing vs the counter which is light brown? Its very noticeable to me. The bottom most picture is a pretty obvious sign its glowing. The background is the counter. The whole thing is glowing blue.

Of course where the perforation is at there is white paper that is exposed so its glowing more, and the red is a lighter color so it also glows. But the black is glowing considerably more than the light brown counter...

I don't see how you guys don't see it. Plus, its probably around 100mcg a hit. So its not going to be glowing like a whole pile of pure crystal, esp because its on black.

No not really, after seeing this I would not use this method as a reliable way to test for LSD. Perhaps its distorted by the net. I have a more reliable method send me those 2 hits to the right and I'll do some thorough investigating for you.

dosent the UV light kill the lsd? or is that just myth? sorry to sound newbish.....just something ive heard forever...

 

liquid is really the way to check it under a uv light.
Eons ago when I was a younger man and had access to liquid we decided to drop some on construction paper to make some "blotter" hits. Easier to "distribute" than liquid and sugar cubes are bulky and a pain.
So we got some orange construction paper, marked it off into 1/2" squares and placed a healthy drop in the center of each square and allowed it to absorb into the paper.
Crude, but it worked fine.
Here is how they looked under normal light;
just a slight discoloration where the drop was placed

This is how they looked under blacklight;
you could see how the LSD soaked in and migrated out from the center.

Maybe your just blind to the last picture and how its glowing vs the counter? Its noticeable to me any all that see it without bedlam eyes.

Oh, UV light does destroy the acid. But it takes more than a few seconds to do any real damage.

 

so lsd is fine with UV lights? serouslyy now? can someone plzz confirm this....i dont want to waste my doses

 

The UV present in sunlight, or from an actual Ultra Violet light such as the type used for sterilization will degrade LSD relatively quickly if exposed for some length of time.
The UV light from a black light is actually very weak, and a few minutes exposure to the a black light I doubt would have any real effect.

Yes, I have plans. One of my plans it to dose before Halloween and get my buddy to have his first trip. He tried weed his first time about 2 weeks ago. So a light dose soon, then a 2 hit possibly one hit dose for a haunted house in Denver! There are supposed to be haunted houses in the top 5 in the nation here, so it should be pretty rad.

I might just do a half dose right now to test potency...
