So I have had this problem for about a couple of weeks now. I keep getting a stomach pain, just an average stomach ache. But I get it several times a day. I'm not sure what it could be?? I have looked up possible diagnosis but it is very difficult to pinpoint what it could be. Does anybody know what could be causing these stomach aches?

could be a number of things of course, but with so little to go on, who can tell.
something you've eaten or not?, gynae probs?, maybe best to have a word with a medical person rather than self diagnose, health is precious.

if you've taken anti biotics recently you've killed off your natural stomach flora

take some acidophilus tablets/ drinks and see how you go.

    or see a doctor

it hasn't really been hurting much anymore, I'm thinking it may have just been upset for a week or so after my plane ride back from Germany. However if it continues to hurt I will visit a doctor and see what they have to say, and yes health is very precious :)

if your breath stinks after sleeping, then the cat must be shitting in your mouth when you sleep.
your stomach upset comes from swallowing the cat shit in your sleep.

Well I visited a doctor, she has told me to make a diary every day of what I eat and when and when the stomach aches occur, so that is what I shall do until I go back for a follow-up visit. So far the only thing she really said is that it most likely has to do with my intestines since it is the lower stomach area that hurts.

Doesn't sound very helpful. Try what she suggested, and also maybe get an over the counter pro-biotic. Whenever I have stomach issues, one week of those usually fixes me up until I eat something that doesn't agree with me.

If you're still having problems, have more symptoms emerge, or don't get better, go back. My great uncle had a stomach ache for years, and by the time he went to the doctor, he had stage 5 stomach cancer. Hopefully that isn't happening to you, but even the simplest problems should not be ignored. :)

What does a probiotic do? I've bought some metamucil tablets to help me go to the bathroom since I have been having issues going (haven't gone in the past 3 days that's not normal!) so I think I have some sort of intestinal issue. But I plan on going back to the doctor in any case during my fall break.

    hey bandana girl!:D

    i'll answer your question.
a probiotic is so called "good microgranisms" in high quanity, that are found in our guts.
it is like this. when we have a massive infection of some kind. the doc will prescribe antibiotics for us to take. antibiotics kill off everthing! (both the "bad" germs AND the "good" germs also)
that is why, sometimes, when we take antibiotics we get diarrhea. the antibiotics kill all the "bad" AND all the "good" germs in our guts.

whenever i'm forced to take antibiotics, i eat a ton of yogurt.
yogurt is extremely high in probiotics. it replaces the "good" germs in our guts that, the antibiotics killed off. yogurt helps to keep us from getting the runs when taking antibiotics.

i'll give you some free advice here also.
once my mother had such sever constipation, that she was hospitalized. she was fed a diet of nothing but all bran and massive fluids.
after almost a week and a half of not taking a dump... she took one hell of several monster shits the next day!
both the doc and dietitian, gave her one hell of a lecture about eating enough in-solvable fiber.
if the metamucil does not work for you, get a box of all bran at the supermarket.

good luck lov, i hope everything 'comes out' alright for you! (pun intended:biggrinjester:)
