When I am not sleeping in a tent in my sleeping bag I sleep in a bed which I built. It is a cedar four-poster bed. I cut down the trees, took them to the sawmill, helped saw the boards, hauled them to the lumber mill to have them plained, hauled them to my home and built the bed in my garage. The posts are 6X6 (headboard 6 feet high, footboard 4 feet high). I slatted both headboard and footboard and pegged it togher with wooden dowels. The only metal used is the brackets that hold the runners on the bottom. My wife and I have slept in this bed for about 20 years.
this one isn't mine.. but i have the same bed.. with a very thick futon mattress on top.i'd just sleep on the floor if i was single.
My bedroom set is solid oak. The bed is a poster style and queen size. Extra firm mattress. Always a big fluffy duvet, percale sheets and lots of pillows.
I have a badass bed that was given to me by a friend. Its a queen size pillowtop, with a huge headboard with mirrors lights cabinets drawers and shelves. But the kicker is the motors. Three vibrating motors (legs, ass, and shoulders) and two lifting motors (head and feet). I LOVE this bed! With the remote you can control every little thing, and even save your favorite position/vibration so all you do is push one button and it goes right where you want it...
I sleep in a queen sized bed that needs a new mattress. The head and footboard are metal tubing shaped like ivy. we are looking to get a wooden cannonball bed.
I don't have a bed. I sleep on a couch. The last bed I slept in was in rehab in january/february, and a homeless shelter before that. The next bed I sleep in will be on the opposite side of the world from where I am now.
queen size mattress on the bottom of what used to be a waterbed until it leaked and I pitched out the water part and the crazy siderails that drove me nutz
a dirty old twin bed that i got from some old lady who was going to throw it away. when i hit the lottery, a new bed will be my first investment.
A big cushy well taken care of queen size mattress and box springs on the floor. I'm too short to have a bed frame also! I sleep alone, and having all that space is AWESOME.
Queen size mattress. I can't convince the girlfriend to want to upgrade. The argument goes: "We should get a bigger bed" "But then we won't have to cuddle when we sleep" "Well, yeah, that is the point" *frowns*
