really confused--old crone can you help

Hello
My name is Lauren and I found this forum through a search on spirit guides.
I've read through several threads already and have enjoyed them especially ones on the Akashic Records (a topic I have recently discovered and grown interest in).

I've been trying to meditate lately to get in touch with my guides but haven't established a clear connection with them yet (I know this can take time). I was wondering if you'd be able to feel them out and identify any if possible? Do you think I am close to being able to establish communication or if I still have awhile to go?

Also I'm trying to figure out what my purpose here is--I can't decide on a career or path and because of that I feel I am stuck (lost) and going nowhere fast, this is also probably due to a lack of self confidence

I would very much appreciate if you can get a read on me? not sure if this makes a difference but i was born 4/9/1988

Hi Lauren

Glad you stopped in. I apologize for taking this long to get back to you. Will run down your list so if you have any question at the end let me know.

1. Akashic records is a place where all knowledge from both here and the spirit world is recorded. Imagine if you will spider webs without number laying flat one on top of the other with the space of a breath between them. Each web moves with the heart beat and collects all information and knowledge. One can access this knowledge by going into these web towers with their intent. Be specific. When a person dies here or is returning to spirit form they naturally pass through the akashic records to review the life experiences and lessons they had. There is no judgment here. Just a review and setting up outlines for the next incarnation. One is not limited to when they can access these hall of records. The Akashic records vibrate with a specific energy pattern. There is a forum in philosophy and religion titled metaphysics and mysticism with a post about entering the akashic records. The difference between this physical life and the spirit world is here we have consequences. When returning to Spirit we do not grow from the experiences in the same way because there are no consequences. The reason you enter does make a difference because we are seeking knowledge and not there to play games.

2. Meditation can assist you in getting in touch with your guides. Keep in mind there are different way to meditate. Do what works for you or resonates with results. I am not one to sit so often walk while meditating. Nature has a way of opening you in ways sitting does not.

3. When getting in touch with your guides know who you are. You are not human trying to be sacred. This is only a shell. You are Spirit trying to be human for what you wish to learn. This life path is set up in the askashic records by you and with your guides. So your guides have been with you from the beginning. They can and do change as you choose the life you live. A guide who is playful will not often be drawn to someone who is find no purpose to play. Guides are drawn to like minds so know your intent when trying to communicate with them. As you change and grow so will your guides. Simply ask for your guides to revel themselves. They have individual energy frequencies just as we do. So what seems to take time is our ability to mesh vibrations so there is understanding and clarity. Dreaming is a good place to start as one tends to get out of their way in dreaming. Guides will use symbols, sounds, pictures, feelings and etc. to help us connect. This is like building a friendship. Where there is respect, and love there is growing awareness. You are the controlling factor because of this form you are in. This connection, as is life, not about what is done to you, but how you perceive and believe. Your guides are learning as are you. For example in writing this the name U. Song (not sure I spelled that right) rings in my ears. He is about 25 and a dancer. He loves movement and music. He is drawn to you for the vibration you have and the artistic ability you are not fully aware you have inside you. He has long coal black hair and says. " Lauren, check out Encaustic Art. Go natural with your creations and follow the sacredness within you. You are not lost in this place...your confusion is about this place being lost in focus within you. Your life is your dance. Want to change your life ....change your steps girl like in a dance. Try something new."

4. Your purpose here is to grow. Your life is what you make it. You are not the victim of your circumstances. Use these places as tools not weapons. Create a passion within you. If you do not have one Create One. You always have change. Emotions do not rule you, Your choices do. So your purpose here is an open book waiting for you to enter the poetry of your life.

Your career path is only as limited as you make it. Find something that interest you and try it. Much like clothes in a closet you will have many adventures. You are here for the experiences and the lessons. Fear is not knowing who you are in a place or thing. So face your self...face what you fear and go for the dream within you.

The feelings of being stuck and lost are carry overs from a past life where your life was planned and you felt powerless to be well, whole, and YOU. Know what Being true to you is and always aim for the greater good. Imagine you are in a giant library and looking through books. Your choices are endless. What ever you do, or read, you will grow knowledge and understanding. Remember,1. Be true to your self. 2. Aim for the greater good. 3. Forget not compassion and love. 4. This life is not about I don't know, and I can't...but about What you choose to give yourself to.

I remember this story about this woman who in finding she felt sorry for her self,and like a prude most of the time, in a fit of anger she made a chastity belt out of duck tape. Then she complained for years she could not have an intimate relationship.

One night her guide suggested she take off her duck tape chastity belt.

Her reply was, "Oh you mean I have to first love my self."

Her guide smiled and said, "Well You got to start somewhere. Just be creative."

The woman thought on these things and decided she had just made up this conversation in her head. She crossed from this world several years later with her duck tape chastity belt intact. What she saw in her akashic record file was she would get to come back again and again until she no longer feared facing herself and her power to choose the life she lead.

sometimes it seems hard to move beyond what we know, or have created. Hard maybe..but not impossible.

What we are here for is to try. To embrace our self, and to enter the changes that lay before us like flowers in a field. Want to change your world...Change the way you see your world and change how you see your self in your world.

Oh and your birth date {4+9+1988 =39=12=3} in numerology comes out to 3. Body Heart and Soul. Give all you are unto what you do and live aiming for the greater good and joy will enter because what you do will reflect who you are.

Hi Lauren

I miss spoke on the forum about the akashic records. The forum the post is in is titled Weird, Bizarre and Mysterious. The post is titled {Anyone been to the akashic plane and was started by easygoing.

Also did some research because I was curious and found Encaustic art, or one part of it is using colored bees wax and an iron. Amazing the designs they were able to make. Can you just imagine doing spirit paintings using these designs?
