Actually I heard that human meat taste like pork. I heard a story of a serial killer selling the victims meat as pork in Canada.

If someone died of natural causes, it's likely that there is a health related reason not to eat them, just like if a chicken or cow dies on it's own, it should generally not be eaten.

And if you're suggesting we start slaughtering people to eat, then you really need to troll harder.

Consumers eat cows and other animals that die before reaching the slaughterhouse. So nothing would prob happen bad to the consumer unless it had a disease. And no I am not suggesting we start slaughtering people to eat that is just f'd up.

I read it a long time ago I don't know where I saw it, so it might take a while for me to find it.

Dammit, no, man, you have to let the meat mature before you go selling it. People veal, good lord.

And if it taste like pork, well then it's good meat at that!

I like and respect this. I'm not a vegetarian, if was to choose that lifestyle though this would apply to me also, as it does to me now. We let so much go to waste.

This is just another way to be efficient. Our bodies or at least parts could be used in so many ways, like fertilizers, animal feed, or human feed. It's not like they're doing much good there sitting in the ground. Sure they may give a little nutrients back to the soil once it all decomposes, but to what? An already cleared piece of land in a city with some grass growing on it? Like Mr. Frankenstein said, why not use the this to crow crops. Use the meat for those that are hungry and needy. Use the meat as pet food. At least do something with it, not just let it go to waste.

    I'd eat human meat

Well. let me put it this way. If there is no food and a human dies of natural reason then sure it is ok to eat them. but if you just go out and murder a random human and eat them then that is way wrong.

I also get what you are saying about instead of putting people in graves you could eat them. sure you could. but we are not like primitive people or cavemen. In modern society this is a social thing that is looked down upon. Also if say your family member dies would you want people cooking them and eating them? most people would not haha.

It is also conditioned into most our minds since we are young that cannibalism is wrong. So most of us by the time we are old have our minds against it. If we grew up differently we could totally think it is right. There are still tribal people in asia that are headhunter's. They will hunt and kill all humans outside of their tribe and eat them.

At the moment though in most place there is plenty of food. So right now I do not think people would wanna eat humans just like they eat other meats. like hey kids were having human legs tonight for dinner.

Plus humans are different from animals. We do not really have instinct. We can think for ourselves and have a lot more control over our brains. we know right from wrong. We have a very strong social connection to each other than other animals. We have way more intelligence and creativity. We are just way more advanced than other animals.

First off... most people who eat animals, do not do so when they die of old age or sickness, and if they do, they are fucking idiots and they deserves the diseases they will get...

So right there, a large portion of people who die, should not be eaten regardless of your views on it.

And I totally agree that there is no difference between humans and animals... humans are animals... and yes, it is only taboo (and law) that stops people (who would otherwise) from doing it.

I'll tell you something though... Someone who claims to be a vegetarian, and then says, but in a life or death situation it would be okay to eat meat (or even better human meat) is nothing but a hypocrite and poser... At least in my opinion.

that's exactly how some of us feel about animals

we do so have instinct, that's what makes waterboarding work

if we have so much control over our brains - if we know right from wrong - why is the world such a mess?

any wolf or dog pack is stronger than the social connection i have with my family [can only speak for myself]

we are just a little way more advanced than other animals, but from our vantage point it seems like a bigger leap than it probably is

    i disagree

i think there is a difference between a person who is an absolutist - say, mullah omar or various amerikan equivalents

and a person who is flexible - the dalai lama eats meat, burning spear [rasta] drinks wine

    who would you rather emulate?

IT IS NOT OKAY TO EAT ANYTHING (human or non-human) THAT HAS 'JUST DIED' FROM 'NATURAL CAUSES"!!!!

That's not a moral judgment people, that is a health issue...

The bolded part first.... NOBODY, I would rather use my brain and think on my own then try to emulate someone else.

The rest... If you think it is okay to eat animals to survive (ie life vs death) then stop telling people they shouldn't eat meat...

When it is easy to stand behind a belief, doing so means NOTHING... It it when it is HARD to stand behind your ideals and you do, then you are doing something...

if you had never emulated anyone you would have died as an infant

most people who are posting in this forum aren't on the point of dying when they eat

vegetarians who would tell a dying person not to eat would fall into the category below [hard to stand behind ideals]

ideals are stupid things, no one knows what is really right and wrong, we can only guess

why make life any harder than it already is?
