If WHO suspects him? And suspects him of WHAT. It seems to me like anyone could be suspected of something. Can law enforcement go in under cover of night and hide tracking devices on anyone they choose. Who's to say these devices might be able to transmit more than just location.
    Scary to me.

The FBI is WHO and why would I know WHAT anyone could be suspected of that would require gps tracking?

I'm not American so it makes no difference what I think about your laws anyway. I was just commenting...sheesh.

I wasn't dissing you - but should they want to, government could find out who you are sleeping with - where you go to get away - they could track your friends to you making you a suspect.
It seems to me that should this be legal in the US then there's a good chance Canada will fall in line at some point - to protect us of course.

If GPS transmitters become standard required equipment for the purpose of assessing road use tax based on miles traveled then the data can be accessed by law enforcement to track a vehicles movements. Investigators would not have to surreptitiously plant the devices on "suspicious" cars... just match the stored travel history with either the registration or VIN.

I'm just glad I'm very observant about my car (ever since someone backed into me and destroyed my marker light and bent my fender while I was shopping at the dollar store and I didn't notice it until Daniel came into work, fuming about someone wrecking our car, lol), so I'm fairly sure I'd catch it. If I didn't, he definitely would, because that car is his baby and he is always super aware of every little scratch or dent. Not like they'd find anything anymore interesting than where I go to work and where we pick up our smoke, cuz that's about the only places we drive. lol

The fbi can suck my dick, they might want to watch though. I still have a mild case of gonorrhea and I haven't taken the pills my doctor has given me yet to clear it up.. Oh well.

Completely and utterly fucked! Remember, REAL/TRUE patriots fight AGAINST The Patriot Act!

Also, i really would like to know in this period of deficits and austerity measures, who the FUCK is paying for all of this?!?! Reminds me of the part (i think) in The Simpson's movie where we see a gigantic wharehouse full of thousands of government employees listening in on the phone calls of America. They get one thing that might be relevant and all of a sudden Homeland Security is paying off! WHAT THE FUCK?!?!

Wasn't it Jefferson who said something to the effect of Those who would sacrifice liberty for a little perceived security deserve neither liberty nor security!
