Help me CONTACT...

Hello everyone,
I've had a whole bunch of experiences with things beyond this plane and try to post here and there, mostly in the yoga and meditation forum.

Anyways I live in an old farmhouse dating back to 1730 in Massachusetts. I live there by myself in the apartment upstairs and the rest of the house is vacant. I am wondering if ya'll could help me contact anyone who's there, what are your ways of contacting? I'm willing to try different methods and will post my results, I think this would prove usefull to other members as well.

A pretext, I do yoga, meditation and exercise atleast one daily.

 

If I were you I would write TAPS who are experts in the area of paranormal phenomena and since their based out of Warwick RI they’re no more than an hour’s drive away

They might even highlight the farm on their cable TV show

Or just buy a digital recorder and see if you can capture any EVP’s (Electronic Voice Phenomena)

Excellent suggestions. There's a small group in RI that also does paranormal investigations - I forget their name - but TAPS is much more experienced, organized, and professional.

I can sometimes contact spirits - I might try focusing on your farm and see if anything happens.

Voice recorders good idea, unfortunetly the one's i've seen are expensive.
any cheap ones out there? that record and play back?

TAPS- ya i'd love to have them on the farm but the owners i'm absolutely sure would NOT want to be on TV let alone there farm, their not that type of people if you get my drift, they're so rich with personality, love and money they have enough coming to them.

The metal detector is a good idea except theirs nuts, bolts, screws, nails, pieces of trash EVERY SINGLE FOOT of the property, i mean it was a working farm. But I may give it a try since it excites me!:eggnog::xmastree:

There are all sorts of memorabilia around the house that was there's maybe i'll bring a piece in my apartment for a meditation session tonight.

 

You can get a handheld RCA one for $20. Why do you think you have ghosts? There are different kinds of ghosts. Some ghosts are less like people, and more like aftershock or memories. There may be no communication, just an event. Be willing to differentiate between the two and don't push contact. What does the energy in the house feel like? Angry? Welcoming? Neutral to your presence?

I also recommend caution; the puritans who lived in massachusetts during the 1700s were theocratic and absolutely fanatical in their belief in original sin.

Even babies who died at birth were considered condemned to hell and if they should awaken

Scary spirits seem to be my specialty - at least so far that's the only kind that has presented to me...and yeah: Puritans are pretty scary. Not sure if any Puritans ever settled as far inland as the place adforester is on, tho.

 

Puritans - I live 35 min. from Boston (with no traffic on the highway) so prob 25 miles?? ..dunno

Let me give you a little background...
I come home and sometimes, things like doors are open that I closed before leaving.
I made drapes for the apartment windows and a week later I found one of them knocked down onto the floor and another one pulled over the window completely the last one was untouched.
If I am gone for a long period of time from the Farmhouse I come home to the TV being on with static really loudly. *These two occurrences (drapes and this tv occurence) could be the carpenter who persists its not him, haha.

What makes me think it is *something*(help me out here) is because one night I was watching last house on the left and fell asleep in my bedroom. Three o'clock in the morning I awoke to the TV in the main room turned on by itself (static on the screen) and was so loud it woke me up. I thought it was the TV in my bedroom which was playing the DVD but it wasn't.

So one night I decided to sit down. I asked it if they took down this CO2 detector that was lying on my table one day with the battery out. I told it to knock yes. It knocked once behind a painting. I then asked if the beeping noise (it was making while running out of battery for 2 days, I was busy so didn't take it down but left it beeping every minute)was annoying and something knocked twice under a different painting on the same wall. Before and after the knocks there were no knocks or creeking or any real noise in the apartment. I then layed on the floor and did a bridge with my body and said "Help! Help!" And I heard feet shuffling up a few steps in the mudroom and then what seemed like feet shuffling on the doormat.

I also have heard a cat meowing then and again when in the kitchen and what used to be the office.

I go to do yoga in the main house and can never really relax, its like someone is watching me, usually from behind or adjacent to where my head is pointed, is that normal for a haunting?

Does this seem like a haunting? What are some characteristics? And what can I do to tap into and channel the workers of the land, I work on the land and work as a caretaker/landscaper and would love to tap into an old time farmer. I know musicians have been known to tap into people who have passed like on celebrity haunting when this celebrity apparently tapped into this famous musician when she bought his piano.

Whatever this entity is, at least it seems relatively benevolent. I haven't tried contacting anything yet - probably this weekend, if I remember.

I did a little research on Puritan history in New England, but I couldn't find much specific info yet. Not important, really - I'm just interested. I'm thinking that maybe by the time the Puritans got that far inland they had become Congregationalists. But maybe not.

Tapping into the local spirits sounds fascinating - but I would tend to be cautious. One thought that comes to mind is automatic writing - you ask the spirits to give you some info or answer questions, then you sit with a pen in hand on a piece of paper, blank out your mind, and write whatever words come to you without censoring or trying to think at all about what you're writing - focus on keeping your own thoughts in check. It's a trickly mental balancing act, but I have tried this with very interesting results sometimes.

However I've never tried this with a spirit strong enough to move physical objects like that - you might need to exert some control to keep it from overwhelming you - no experience here, maybe others can advise.

 

Hmm automatic writing, I'm gonna have to try that this weekend, maybe tomorrow when its raining!! ..as I do outside work i'll have the day off, Will let ya'll know how it goes.

I have been seeing this lady that;s naked when i'm driving, in my minds eye, certain music enhances and entertains the lady and helps me concentrate on the environment I find her in. It's weird because she was in a movie I saw recently and I thought she was the most gorgeous women I had ever seen and knew it was going to inspire me. Well I pushed the envelope and tried imagining what she was doing, because I kept seeing her in my minds eye at random times. It's not like anything else I see in my mind, its psychic, telling me something (it's the same place i've found out my grandmother died, same place I get messages that have pertinent information, about good and bad things coming etc.) almost hidden messages that seem to be behind boxes or debris, u can see the movie but it's like a dream that evolves through time as you get little glimpses.
As I entered her pitch black bedroom, I mean I couldn't see a damn thing besides her body, not even the bed she was sitting on but I knew it was a bed. (maybe its because I have to ask or "see" what else is in the bedroom?_) she came from a seated position on her bed and stood up naked. She picked up a small notepad from her bed with a pen and motioned it towards me. Maybe with the automatic writing your suggesting maybe that's what it wants me to do?!

I checked up and seems like from the research I did the dominate religion around cambridge and greater Boston was Congregationalism. Pilgrims and Protestants that didn't care whether to reform or leave the church of england. All decisions were decided by each individual church - wow that's so liberal for 1700!!!

 

Very interesting visions...maybe spirits using the image of this woman you like so much to beckon you? Maybe kind of like spirit bathroom graffiti telling you something like, "For a good time, pick up this pad and write." LOL

The Puritan church in New England gradually evolved into the Congregationalist churches as well. And here's something even more remarkable: A lot of the Congregationalist churches evolved into Unitarian and Universalist churches - and those then merged to form the Unitarian Universalist church, which is so liberal it teaches that all religions have validity. From one extreme to the other.

 

I tried contacting spirits on your farm a little bit this weekend - but I ended up falling asleep. I didn't get very far with it. The only vibes I got from there seemed quite benevolent - I didn't get any words. I might try it again sometime after a big cup of coffee.

 

Talk to them. Listen with your mind, not your ears. Using voice recorders, cameras, etc., will only prove what you already know. Trust yourself, use intuition and that same mind's eye (the one that sees the naked woman) to determine who/what your inhabitants are. If they seem distressed, trapped, or lost, do your best to help them realize they are dead and must move on.

We need to get out of the habit of trying to put spirits on television and parading them around in movies. Since they are real, and we all know they are, we should be helping them. Or better yet, letting them help us. Good luck.

 

On Friday I took a puff of my bowl and placed it, along with a tea holder full of MJ into a buckskin puch. I put it inside a drawer under a table I use in a corner of my living room. The drawer wouldn't close so I kept moving around articles until finally the pouch fit with the drawer closed.

I left for the day and came back home after work. The drawer was opened! ..all the way and the pouch was gone along with all its contents! A piece of suran wrap I had in the drawer was opened up to show the abscence of said pouch. Damn it....

Sound like a ghost or a prankster? this time....
I told one of the guys I work with about the spirit turning on the tv and stuff. I live by myself and lock the doors when I leave but the other older guy I told has a key to my place as well as the owner...
do ghosts do this type of stuff?

 

adforester, ummm that sounds a little too much for ghosts...I dunno, I was thinking based on what you said earlier about the knocking answers to your questions that maybe you had something legit going on there. Now it just sounds like you have somebody ripping you off.

I think its funny one occurence happens and your considering dismissing all the tappings, t.v. surges, opening of doors, etc.

 

Sorry, I was careless in writing my post. It sounds like the tappings etc are legit, but the theft was too much to swallow. Cuz I dunno - I can't see a human going to that much trouble to do the tappings and tv surges. Or even being able to accomplish them, either. No, I'm not dismissing your ghost(s). Sounds like maybe your friend was acting like a ghost that needed a toke.
