REFLECTING EYES OF DENIAL How does water contain The ability to reflect? Are those visions seen within The reality we forget? The products that form beauty We physically project A by-product of conformity No one can accept Reflecting eyes of denial As you try to contemplate Will you bare your own path Or walk one already made? Have the expectations of society Confused your way of change? Are those eyes you look into The one you ought to blame? Societies profound arrogance Has led us to compete Like salesmen who grovel On the floor at buyers feet Decisions are controlled by money It’s the markets only belief But you’re to busy trying to by Into this false reality Can you turn your back Or are you too afraid to try? Have you already lost The person you knew inside? Ignore this silhouette And continue to deny That what they call the truth Is just a corporate lie Copyright (C) Angel Campbell
^very on point angel. I see layers and always wondered what was past the corporate level and beyond...what's the story? what are the workings above and behind the scenes. heh. I feel that many accept the corporate mish-mosh and embrace it in clouded judgment and more recent, that money is no longer the catalyst for the feelings you conveyed. Rather, the power shift away from us to the mega institutions in every way imaginable. Almost. When money isn't a game anymore something else is played, right ? meh
i defiently agree with you that most people accept without understanding or questioning. if you don't question authority you lose humanity. i believe most coporations hold hidden aggendas. once you have so much money you get bored. thanx for takin the time to read my work and give me your insight. =) angel
