Is ketamine like nitrous?

They're both dissociatives. How different are they, besides the duration? How does DXM compare to both?

 

As different as all the 2c's; though the core remains the same.

 

they actually are very similar! According to MeatWagon, who was the guy that convinced me to try dxm with his famous quote:

I haven't tried DXM yet. I guess I'm just prejudiced since it's OTC, I don't think it will be as good as the illegal drugs. Plus my first OTC experience was with benadryl...which I don't regret but won't repeat. Is DXM really that much better? But god damn, I must needs get my hands on some ketamine!!!!

 

I mean I guess there similiar in the way that you feel detached from reality and your mind but I don't think they really feel the same.

 

yea you could say that i mean its a little diff for every person wen im on nitrous i still talk to everyone and i can still feel my body but wen i do some k im on a whole nother planet like i really feel that wen i go into a k-hole im on like pluto or somethin lol its a great insight

 

dxm is great to try once, but thats about it. I did it for the second time like 3 days ago, and tripped so hard it scared me from doing dxm again or even tryin ketamine!

sxm follows the rule of three's,,, 1 out 3 people who try it love it, 1 out of the 3 people hate it, and 1 person doesnt love or hate it...im the one that doesnt hate or love the chemical...

 

Using the statistics on the polls forum, it looks like out of 10 people, 3 will like dxm, 3 wont, and 1 will be undecided. According to the poll, about 45 voted that they liked it, 45 voted that they didnt, and 15 were undecided. Divide those numbers by 15 and you get 3, 3, and 1.

unlike NO, DXM and PCP, Ketamine is the only dissociative u gain insight from... with DXM you just trip balls but nuthing life changing, i love Ketamine but I hate DXM....

 

Nitrous has absolutly no effect on me when under K.

 

Just wondering has anyone ever ran into pure DXM pills? im suprised people dont sell them anywhere

 

Don't mean to sound mean, but DXM and Benadryl have about as much in common as Halo 3 and Nintendogs. THey are both OTC, but DXM owns Dryl so badly that there are no words to describe it. Try DXM, it's fun!

personally i find ketamine and nos to be very different while they both are a dissociative drug, i find ketamine to be more like mmm i cant walk and im tripping a bit (i havnt done a lot of ketamine) where as nitrous is very short lived you have some crazy trip that makes no scene then come back to your body 30 seconds later with no way of explaing what just happen to you!

 

This is the wisest comparison of dxm to Ketamine I've heard so far.

They both have that dissociative feeling to them, but they each have their own characteristic flavor, if you will.

I find ketamine to be me smoother and slightly more psychedelic, while I find DXM to be more dissociative and heavy/toxic (maybe I haven't pushed my ketamine doses up high enough yet ).

 

A good k-hole can be exactly that but much more longer lasting.

 

Difficult to compare those two product for me. They are so different...
