Hello everyone. It's been a while since I needed any reassurance but I'll get to the point... I have been receiving 60 .5mg ativan for the last six months and the thought of being screened by my third rate doctor had never crossed my mind until this past Saturday when one of her employees mentioned she was planning to screen me. Needless to say I lucked out because the doctor subbing for my usual one can't write scrips for benzos so I rescheduled my appointment for this coming Friday... Up until that Saturday I had been smoking every day with the occasional day missed due to lack of funds. I plan on diluting heavily and taking B12 and creatine supplements beforehand in hopes the THC won't show up, however, throughout Tuesday and Wednesday before the test I've taken a total of 8mg of Xanax since I can't smoke for my anxiety and I've been out of ativan for weeks. As for my question: Will dilution prevent the Xanax from testing positive after two days? Or do drug screens test for each drug in particular or will it just come back as a benzo that could be explained by the ativan? I've passed for pot using dilution after just three days so I think I stand a good chance being that I'm 5'10 and weigh 140-145lbs with a fairly high metabolism... I'd just hate to lose a prescription I need because Tennessee is too uptight to implement MMJ which would help sooo much more...
Benzos take the longest time to get out of your system, and if they want to, after testing positive for benzos they can test metabolites to see exactly which benzo you were taking. Though at the same time a lot of doctors screen to make sure you're taking your drugs vs selling them. If you test positive for what you're prescribed that's often what they care about. If you test positive for xanax, just say you had to go to *make up anything stressful) and you had run out ativan so you got xanax from a friend. It's reasonable for someone who already has an ativan prescription.
