i don't have to be paranoid around them now on any substance... for what reason? them to ask me if i'm on drugs? for them to yell at me? i'm not scared of them lol

 

i used to do that kind of stuff too - like 25-30 years ago. Get high, get stoned, get tripped out, then go to friends, relatives, teachers, employers, strangers, clerks, etc. and see if they could figure it out. i got some interesting looks but no one actually asked/accused.

i am long over the phenomenon.

What i am alluding to in this thread is not the issue of getting scared by parents or straights or in trouble or busted or whatever. No, i am thinking about YOUR TRIP! 20 mgs. aces or any other hefty dose. Think about it. Set & Setting. It's all about Set & Setting.

 

1st: I trip all the time with my mom in the house, but shes fine with me taking psychedelics so its pretty much a non-issue. I would never go around her tripping though, wayyy to awkward just wait till she goes to bed and you should be good to go.

2nd: I always thought a hotel had the room entrance on the inside, as in you have to walk through a lobby and a hallway, maybe even in elevator to get to your room, while a motel has the entrance to the room on the outside, usually doesnt go above two stories. I might be pulling that out of my ass tho.

Woops, my mistake.

I've tripped on 20mg doses of 2c-e around my parents, 50mg of 2c-e twice, that 4-AcO-DMT/2c-e combo, mescaline.. the list goes on. I don't really care.. then again, after dosing my friend with DPT and having him die on my floor, I've taken a serious look at my psychedelic usage and how other people can handle such doses around figures of authority. It is also worth mentioning that a few of these experiences have been at concerts so I have not been talking to them for the entire duration etc.

Simply, my parents don't instill paranoia in me. I'm not afraid for any reason to be discovered tripping. However, OP, I DON'T RECOMMEND THIS FOR YOU AS YOU MAY NOT REACT THE SAME WAY!

 

I guess I'm just self concious why having saucers for eyes and the strange looks associated. lmao though lsd at a nursing home. were you actually visiting the residents too?

 

yeah lol but those visual deformities can happen with anyone/thing you see though

yeah my dad was really sick at the time and i wasn't handling it well so i learned to handle it. my mom's best friend was in the same place so i would see her too, and some man that thought i was his wife lol. a friend of mine was in the hospital and i went and saw him but i was already tripping someone just picked me up to visit.

 

Fuck hotels I tripped in one once and I wont again. Baaad energy, probably the way the room was arranged. Strange enough, that kinda shit can really have an impact on my tripping mind.

 

This is the important thing. I'm kind of a paranoid person in general and have a horrible time even being high on cannabis around my parents, I feel like they know IMMEDIATELY and HATE ME FOR IT lol, even though they don't, and wouldn't.

Listen to Spicey though. OP frames the issue as "will I be able to act normally, will they find out" when really the issue is "can i handle being on 20mg 4aces around my folks".

10 mg would be fine, maybe 15, imo. But if it's your first time, I'd recommend doing it alone.

You might sweat. That would be most noticeable.

Eyes... I'm stoned everywhere, always, I think people don't look at your pupil sizes unless they are cops or suspicious, so act normal.

Normal people don't act like everything is a novelty (like tripped out people) so act busy, like you're reading your cell phone.... my two cents.

No it's not. His friend mixed a lot of DPT with a lot of benzodiazepines, and had some suppressed breathing function I believe. It went away on its own.

That's one of the things that propelled Gautama Buddha into a path to enlightenment. He didn't have the LSD, but there was the confrontation with suffering - expressed as illness, ageing, death.

it wasn't just that that helped me realize, i was in a bad situation at the time and i had a lot more death going on around me. most of my feelings towards death and such of that nature i keep private because i do not know my exact feelings on it (or anything for that matter) yet. i did learn how to handle myself in the situations, grow emotionally stronger as well as mentally.


but ya all in all i say it depends on the person. i don't recommend any drug use at any time though.

Sorry for not clarifying immediately, and thank you for asking - I don't want people assuming this substance is deadly. I just keep assuming everyone reading what I post read my TR.. :sunny:

Basically, a friend of mine did a 150mg dose of DPT with me (200mg) and another guy (150mg), and during the come-up a large amount of benzodiazepines disappeared into the mouths of these two friends. My theory is that the benzos in combination with the strong stimulant effects of the drugs led to respiratory problems/a seizure.

I was talking to someone about seizures after this event, and she told me that often what happens is that the tongue will fall back into the throat and prevent breathing.
