Next time I trip, it will be at the St. Louis art museum and forest park. I've gone once sober, and it was mindblowing, especially upstairs with all the abstract art. Any thoughts, suggestions?

"Museum dosing" is in fact a finer art than Dr. Shulgin led us to believe. The first and most important advice i would offer is quite simply: dose low. You want to be stimulated and energized, not floored and overwhelmed. You are going to be in a public place, possibly in tight spaces, with uptight people you do not know.

Ha ha, once back in the 1980's my husband and i took doses (not low enough) at the Academy of Sciences museum and aquarium in Golden Gate Park. Everything was fine until those doses started to hit. This was before the remodel. Those tight, poorly lit walls were dankly (not pot slang) breathing in a rather medieval dungeon sinister manner. Meanwhile the people were starting to look really weird and fishy to me and according to my husband the fish were starting to look like people we knew. We looked at each other and without saying a word psychically communicated, "WE GOTTA GET OUTTA HERE!"

And we did and had a great day. But, we missed the museum, the original intention . . .

Definitely go with a lower dose if you plan on going to the mueseum. I've never been to an actual art mueseum while tripping but the few times I've tripped at a park with like an exhibit part as well, I always opt for the park and outdoors part the majority of the time. You can dose a little higher probably if you are mainly going to be in the forest park part. If you are really into art or like critiquing it maybe the mueseum would hold your interest but I find nature to always hold my attention and wonder longer while tripping.

Being in buildings with a serious atmosphere is usually not the best I find during tripping.

I really want to do this, but we have this museum that's intallation based (The Mattress Factory) -- and some of them are just big walk in optical illusions, so it would be absolutely perfect.
