idk if its cause theres to much or hasnt been in freezer long enough. but chunks are just floating at the bottom
ahhhhh.. no, but someone can correct me.. you should of dumped your naphta in some hexane, then the freezer. the nap will sink and the dmt crystals will rise to the top.. you just let the nap evaporate on the pull your doing, you should have crystals or a tacky remaining<this you recrystallize..
i don't know why orison319 is recommending mixing solvents . . . Hopefully you just put it back in the freezer. Patience is of the essence. Put it in the back of the freezer where the cool air comes in. NO PEAKING! Give it AT LEAST 12 hours. You want there to be plenty of time for the DMT to fully precipitate out . . . Good luck!

i always use Heptane (Bestine) for recrystallization. Never heard of Hexane in this context. Don't even know if it's available on the consumer market.
A question I have is can you just evaporate off all the Naptha? After doing pulls, can you just leave the container open with a fan, and come back to why is evaporated off? It feels like you'd lose less product that straining throw a coffee filter, etc.
Yes, you can definately do this. It will increase time and not increase yield IMHO, but it definately works. ALL of the naptha must be evapped, not just the visible puddles. Your final product will look like smeared crystal formations on the bottom of the Pyrex that vaguely resemble a sea anemone. Scrape these up with a razor, chop, recrystallize if necessary, dry some more and enjoy!
