Prior to attending the Power Lake "Regional Gathering", I was present at one gathering, Colorado 2006 (If i remember the year correctly).. This regional event was nothing like the gathering I had been to before. Did anyone here go? I wonder if I spoke with any of you... I have a tot now, and even though I am not a "member" of the rainbow family.. whatever that means or however that happens I do not know.. I truly treasure the collective heart beat within every human and I strive to not slither into the dark pits of misanthrope.. At my first gathering I listened to someone speak about how the rainbow is like drops of water and the ripples are how the rainbow grows and spreads through humanity.. That is beautiful, and so true. really just accepting each other and truly loving one another or what we are can save us from self destructing. I still noticed quite a bit of animosity around, however.. At some fire there was a sister talking about how just because you go to a gathering it does not make you a rainbow and not everyone can be a rainbow and how ridiculous and sad everyone else is... I though to myself.. Does this person call herself a rainbow? Is that what a rainbow is, or should be?? It seems not... But yes, I have begun to ramble in and out and on and forward and have lost my initial point somewhere.. but maybe not.. maybe my point was just everything that came out, creating no point at all, but to say, hello. Rainbow seems beautiful, and I hope to return someday with my kiddo and his father, my life mate.. Look forward to someday really forming bonds with some family as well.... and yea, the end..
