anyone watch the lesnar velasquez fight?

holy shit. did not see that coming. lesnar got dominated and knocked out like a minute into the first round. lesnar just couldn't keep velasquez on his back, couldn't take all the punches and just turtled up and got tkoed.

but wonder how many pay tv people want to kick his ass now... $45 for a few minutes.. brought to you by: Crack Entertainment Inc..

my take on it was he got too intimidated when he couldn't easily pin velasquez like he usually wins fights. velasquez just rolled out of every takedown and got top position. his nonstop strikes definitely helped quite a bit but lesnar got outwrestled. velasquez is a 2 time all american apparently though.

...then lesnar just gave up and turtled up. i was disappointed to see him pretty much give up like that

i won't have any respect for him 'til he proves himself in the ufc. all he ever fights are b-league dudes. got submitted recently too.

it's not bad if you've got a group of people all throwing down on it. and the only short fight was the lesnar one. the other ones were all pretty long and exciting. the lesnar one was amazing too just by how bad lesnar got beat. short as hell, but did you see his face at the end?

cmon fedor was the best in pride. and pride was twice as good in depth of fighters as the ufc is.

 

the ufc has all of pride's best fighters. right now the premier league is the ufc. all the best fighters are in the ufc. fedor refusing to join says to me he's scared to fight top notch competition.

 

i agree with you ufc is the best. but i dont think you can honestly believe he is scared. i mean this is the guy that went toe to toe with cro cop in his prime. who was scarier than cro cop in his prime..
