Response to forum spamming complaint by EllisDTripp

This complaint was recieved as the result of my posting this article to this forum yesterday "Poisonous gasoline additive pollutes most groundwater in US" - 11 30 04 - Controversy always makes for a good focal point of the masses attention so I thought I should post it here.

I read the rules that said that I was not to post the same posting to any new thread. Each one of my postings are addressing these issues from different perspectives that relate to that forum topic. I have posted one that does not relate to anything political but only tells a story of my Hippy youth. I am now posting responses to the responses I receive either on the same threads I receive them on or if the response goes into a new area that I have not covered yet, I post it as a new thread. I am an asset to a forum like this and you are lucky to have me. If I come close to violating your rules, you would do well to overlook it unless it creates set of circumstances that are disturbing. I use to tell cops that bothered me hitch hiking that hitch hiking laws were not created for them to go out and put an end to hitch hiking, they were put there in order that peace officers had a manner with which to address an issue that had become disturbing, related to hitch hiking. I tell you the same thing. If you run me out of this forum, it will be your loss. I have plenty of places to go and a chapter in my book telling of how I was excommunicated from the Hippy community for addressing environmental issues in Forum that headers its home page with the title of "Free Speech Forum", well, it might even be worth it. A lot of Hippies are idiots. You might be one of them. Hippies are responsible for a lot of what is fucking up this planet up and they show no sign of wanting to correct what they do. I am not one of those kinds of Hippies. Perhaps there needs to be a separate forum for Hippies that are idiots and Hippies that are not. What do you think? Which one will you attend?

EVERYBODY here is an "asset" to the forum. Especially those who don't demand exceptions to rules because they are "special"...

From spamming to blackmail in only 17 posts? Wow, you really are an ASSet, arent you?

Personal attacks are also against the forum guidelines....

It seems to me that the people here (even some of the "idiots") care a hell of a lot more than the average TV-watching, SUV-driving, Wal-Mart-Shopping Bush-voting AmeriKKKan does. Particularly those who hang out in the environmental/political forums you spammed. So why not take your diatribes to places where THEY hang out, rather than preaching to the choir here?

You aren't going to be "attending" anything around here if you don't chill out...

I thought with that handle You might enjoy reading my posting in FlashBacks. It has nothing to do with the environment so You might appreciate more. It is more about drugs. I apologize if You construed my meaning that there happens to be Hippies in the world that are idiots to be a personal attack. I was merely speaking in general. I think in any group or genera, their are people that might be classified as idiots but I suppose it is an impolite generalization. The Hippies I grew up with weren't really the sensitive type in fact most of us enjoy a good rub. We never were ones for a lot of political correctness but then I never saw us as bigots to people who followed a more socialistic view of society. I believe that it is important that all sides of all issues get their day in the arena of debate and ideas where the true lessons that work in the world and society can rise to a level that they can be given the consideration they deserve. If You have a reaction to my article in Flashbacks either positive or negative, I would love to here it. Oh Yeah, I don't think I would have responded to your earlier attack if I weren't sure you were a moderator.

Spelling and grammar errors aside, it was kind of interesting, if a bit rambling. Massive beestings probably would cause a strange altered state. I'll stick to grass, thank you...

What "attack" was that?

I made a simple request that you abide by our forum guidelines, and you claim that I "attacked" you? WTF?

If you are going to wage war against corporate destruction of the environment, and the practices of the petrochemical industry, you would be well served by developing a thicker skin. If a simple request drives you into a tizzy, I can only IMAGINE what would happen if you got hit with a SLAPP suit from an MTBE manufacturer or something...
