So--- he was a camera crew and a handful of costars away from actually taping an episode of "Two and a Half Men"?

The more I think about this the more it occurs to me that it is this type of personal train wreck that some people hope for with all these celebrity reality TV series'. To hell with all this normal act... I wanna see a Kardashian or Osbourne tie one on, punch a hooker, then black out. Give the people what they want... not this bereft of controversy act of pantomiming normal without arrests and drunken debauchery... it's like attending a hockey game and not one fight occurs- you always feel a bit ripped off walking away from it.

I actually don't mind Charlie Sheen. He may hit women, and be somewhat of a deadbeat by definition, but aside from that, at least he doesn't give a fuck.

    What I find even more stupid are those celebrities who go around doing stupid shit, but don't own up to it for whatever reason;

Paris Hilton found with cocaine in her purse- "Oh, that's not mine."
Really? Who the fuck else walks around with $200,000 purses?

Anyone remember when Kiefer Sutherland was arrested for drunk driving? He was offered a deal in which he would have to go to rehab and publicly announce that he was sorry and that he has a drinking problem and that he's going to fix it. He didn't feel like pretending it was a big deal or that he was some kind of sap, so he opted for jail time instead. What a decent guy.

Lindsey Lohan has been thrown to the wolves and it's obvious that people would much rather see her crying her eyes out in a courtroom than see her in a movie. Pretty fucked up. I wonder what all those people who bought her movies and albums think, "I thought she was a great actor, this courtroom jail time shit is even better."

Charlie Sheen invited over a hooker and trashed a hotel room. Musicians do this every day, when they do it, it's cool. When a guy who we watch twice a week on a show that kids watch too does it, he's an animal. Just seems like he had a wild night is all.

He slapped around a wife or two and threatened one with a knife, people do much worse to their spouses every day. Cocaine can make a person do bad things. Though any guy who hits a woman is a deadbeat in my books.

It does seem that people more so enjoy the spectacle of it all. It's great when you can turn on the news and get more episodes of your favorite show, only this time with headlines.

Its a lot like what goes on in the rest of the world (outside of tv)... people would rather see others fail, then succeed themselves.

You can see evidence of this literally everywhere. Look around and see the examples of people joining 'mobs' in order to attack someone on the basis of one person's imagination.

No thoughts of, whats the best for me... its almost always... "I just want to be better then him... even if I have to hurt myself to pull him down further then I think I am..."

    This, IS human nature...

    UPDATE!

It appears Charlie's ex-wife Denise Richards and their two children were actually staying in the same suite at the Plaza, but in a different room. Also Denise got to meet Charlie's escort at dinner where he was partying with friends and other escorts. Charlie was already drunk and causing a scene, so Denise didn't hang around.

Also apparently the real reason Charlie went to the hospital was because he broke the chandelier spreading glass all over and he tried to sweep it under the bed, but ended up cutting himself and getting blood on the floor.

Charlie was found "half-naked", not completely naked as reported before, and sleeping in bed. His escort was found naked in a closet screaming!

I heard on CNN this morning that his agent said he went to the hospital because he suffered from an allergic reaction.

Who cares? I mean this is between the hotel, police and Sheen. Are we a bunch of celebrity worshippers who hang on everything narciccistic people do? Who gives a fuck?
