I am going to be taking a trip with the Sacred San Pedro plant soon! and any advice. I have taken ayahuasca, and peyote before, and so I am excited to finally do this magnificent plant. and maybe actually meet the spirit of the plant!! for those that want to know I am making a tea out of it. A simple, yet effective way I am told of taking it. Excited!!!! I will be writing a trip report as soon as my trip is done.
I recommend going outside on it. I prefer it during the day. Ive not really attributed any spirits to the experience but it does feel like medicine. Closed eye visuals are beautiful and serene and its a very subtle yet blissfully flowing experience. How much do you plan on taking?
I have no idea yet, it is a completely different plant to me. And erowid is not helping me out, much, what would you recommend for a beginner to the plant? I am new to this one, so I have very little dosage experience, on what my body can handle and what it cant. I only weigh 107 lbs, so I really need to be careful, things hit me way more than other people.
I was thinking of making tea out of 16, or 17". bc I think it will hit me a lot harder than most. so I dont think 18" , trying to be cautious. The one time I took too much ayahuasca, I had the most amazing experience though, very very overwhelming. so I dont know.
I would take 1 foot of cactus. My sweet spot is 2 feet of cactus and I've taken 3 ft before and talked to many others that have taken that much as well. I personally find 1 foot to be really light on the visual front but feels like a light dose of mdma, I think it would be a good dose for you and not be to overwhelming.
Oh ok I think the doses you are thinking about are good, sorry didnt catch this post before my last post.
thanks guerilla! My plant has been growing for awhile and I finally have enough with a little left over to replant!! I can not wait! I am taking it this saturday or the next. It has to be determined, on babysitter, or if hubby is home! lol
hey that sounds awesome and i hope you have a great time. that's really cool that you have your own to replant also. i have just recently discovered this whole subject and recently had my own first experience with some peruvian torch. i'm going to be ordering a couple of san pedro's to grow as well now as i'm completely into at and can't wait to get some lil baby's to grow.
Hope you have a wonderful experience/journey psychedelicg1rl. i never went deep on cactus or cactus resin cooks, probably due to the purging. The one time i actually did a mescaline extraction i finally came to realize what all the hype was about, what Aldous Huxley and all those guys were ranting about. i hope you find this space with the San Pedro cactus you eat and will share any preparation tips you come upon. Don't you love what happens when you cut a section off the top of a San Pedro and lay that section on the ground - new cactii in no time at all! Getting close to thinking about lopping the top foot or so off of my 2 active San Pedro's . . .
thanks spicey! It means a lot coming from you. I wish I had time to do an extraction but money is tight and I dotn have the ingredients so good ole tea, i Hope I feel something. I have a really good feeling I will. since I have been growing it myself. awwe I love having san pedros. I am going to hate when I Move somewhere cold in 2012. no more san pedro cacti for me. lol This is hopefully one of many experiences that I hope will change my perspective a little.
