Canadians are smelly and really backwoods. I think we should boycott Canada for at least a few days. Your money is worthless and your country is going bankrupt! What can you say to U.S? Get over it and stick your noses in your own politics the war like soooo many others are over resources and, Only the strong survive! Would you put your Army up against ours? Then shut the hell up you liberal narrow minded saps who dont even have a financial leg to stand on I think the mad cow disease Started with the liberals, and you can keep your beef!Eh?

This is true. We were able to reasonably populate our land. This is one country in the world that will never complain about overpopulation. We have a land mass of ~ 9,976,140 square kilometers and a population of ~ 31,902,268. What can I say, we like our leg room!

Of which we have a lot, that is, compared to the good old U S of A. Your land mass is
    ~ 9,629,091 square kilometers. Smaller than Canada. Your population? ~ 280,562,489. ( 2002 figures).

There is a global epidemic that I keep hearing about. I can’t quite remember the name ... umm... overpopulation, or something like that? I rarely hear about it up here. It must not be a problem up here in the great white north.

As for smell ... I can’t speak for every Canadian, but on Mondays I go conservative. Kenneth Cole helps me provide a scent that is not too overwhelming. Tuesday I smell of Swiss Army. Wednesday, Armani smells me up good with the classic Acqua Di Gio (everyone loves me on Wednesday). On Thursday I smell like everyone’s favorite Dolce & Gabbana. For Friday I spice it up a bit with Dior’s Fahrenheit.

Your boycott happened when you re-elected the incumbent George. W. Bush to office.

    Good going by the way.

Canadians wouldn’t give such a tyrant the time of day, let alone the reigns of the country for eight years.

A few years ago you might have had a case. Our dollar was hovering around 63 cents to the [American] dollar.

Today it is worth 84 cents to the dollar. Most economists say that it will reach 90 cents to the dollar next year.

Not bad for a country going bankrupt, eh?

    How is your dollar doing?

I can say to the US ... how are you going to pay off that 7.4 trillion dollar debt?

    Need a loan?

I don’t really think Canada is too worried about her resources. You folks have been pretty pushy with trade. You wouldn’t reason with us so we had to go over your heads. The WTO just gave us (and the EU, Brazil, Japan, Korea, Mexico, and India for that matter) the right to slap you with trade sanctions of our own.

In light of that I’d probably say to the U.S. that illegal trade sanctions are not a great idea.

No. We don’t like war. It isn’t that we can’t fight (see vimy ridge), just that we are more into the whole peace and love thing.

    SIR, YES SIR!!

As for the financial leg, umm, how much are civil liberties worth again?

7.4 trillion in public debt ... well at least you got Saddam.

You should publish your findings as to the cause of BSE. They might give you an award.

Funny thing, your leader was in our capital yesterday. On the menu ... Alberta beef.

    In conclusion, please shut up.

Canada? I love Canada. I'd move there if i didn't have a good job and could stand the winters. I might move there still . . . In fact I think there should be a new nation that includes all of the sane people in North America and then the phony so-called conservative "Neo-Cons" can be left with Nebraska, Mississppi, and Oklahoma, etc.

Canada has sane politics, beautiful cities, less fear, less crime, healthcare for all, no looming draft or body bags coming home from the Middle East. Somewhere the USA took a wrong turn (election of 1980?) and Canada did not. Even their Conservatives call themselves progressive there.

What percentage of canadians live within 250 km of the US border? nearly 90% is it? Yeah, you guys are spreading out!

The thought of us actually paying off the debt is actually kinda funny. Thankfully, most of the debt is not owed to foreign countries.

150 million trade tariff on an 11 trillion dollar economy. It is hardly anything major.

Nor are illegal subsidies to lumber industries or to airbus in the case of the euros.

    No one likes war.

you make me shake my head. i read your apology; it seems strange that you've changed your mind so completely from one post to the next. as well, it seems strange that you're unable to understand why i would find you to be immature after such an offensive post. humble? i think not. how old are you?

an apology followed by an insult. and, an unreasonable one, at that. this has nothing to do with politics and everything to do with manners and maturity.

I am not going to fight with you about this I apologized! It was a stupid half cocked comment and I am truly sorry about it. In my PM to you I explain why I was mad and for the rest of the group I will explain it one more time okay??? Read closely. I was mad because of the way My president was recieved in Canada. Would you like it if Your Prime Minister was treated like that for something he believed was right? I am not debating right or wrong but, we are connected and we do more business between each other than any other country. Dont Blame G.W. This problem started way before he was in office. What about Bill Clinton bombing an Aspirin factory or getting into the Bosnian conflict?? I have apologized to you all, Whoever accepts this Thank You,I made a mistake by doing that first post! For those Of you that cant Accept that, Learn to forgive that is the first step to true peace.

a big part of being a president is dealing with protest of any kind. bush was treated with respect and welcome in canada, and protests were kept peaceful. i accept your apology, but quite frankly, i'm a little shocked at the amount of rage one person can generate on behalf of one's leader. remember to keep a level head and an open mind.

    peace.

Really you are shocked? where exactly do you live? Many Many people are loyal to whoever is in charge of the country they live in. Please get over it and quit trying to act as if you are better or, more intelligent than I am. I am human and I made a mistake. As we all do, Intelligent or Dumb! That wasnt rage that was hurt. You are our allies. Friends even. I just want to get along and all you can do is try and belittle me. I accept the things the other people on here said and I learned from that. It hurts to be told things such as I said. That being said, Goodbye

dude, i'm not interested in a fight. you're possibly the most passive agressive person i've spoken to so far in the forums, and really, with your pm's and thread posts, i've had just about enough of this so-called "discussion". i feel at a loss for proper responses, and to be honest, more than a little baffled.

    goodbye.

edit: that's enough then. peace to you.
