For about two years i have suffered from anxiety and depression- ive been on xanax, but hate the stuff. Can i get a medicinal marijuana card for this? Whenever i smoke it just is an instant cure. I dont feel nervouse about talking to others, and it just seems to be the only thing that helps- I also like how its a natural cure. Well, what do you think? Should i talk to my doctor about this?
First, check the local state laws regarding the qualifying conditions. The NORML website should have some useful links to help you find that stuff. And most Doctors don't seem to want to discuss this stuff unless they work at (or next door) to a dispensary. In fact, I'd just pop by a Dispensary for an evaluation.
All depends where you live. Where as in California, you can get a card for alll kinds of things, you have to have something pretty serious to get one here in Michigan. Just google 'Whereveryoulive Medical Marijuana' and if you look, you should be able to find something that will list the qualifying conditions.
you've answered your own question, whether a doctor agrees with you or not. If it relaxes you, smoke weed- a lot of this synthetic crap they put people on is dangerous, because many never quite come of of it.
He's not asking if he should smoke or not, he's just asking if he'll be able to get a card that will allow him to smoke legally, and get medical bud. He definitely should smoke though, so long as it keeps helping him, and he's not suffering any negative effects by smoking.
you've just said everything I just did. I just said that he should, like your second paragraph and that I don't know if the doctors would allow it, because I don't. My point was if he isn't allowed, he should still try and use that particular drug much the same way 99% of people do.
