When I started actively using LSD I was after profound expiriences, I didn't even think about my migrenes. I was dosing at least once a month, but more likely every week, or every 2 weeks (a bit too much, but hey, you know how it is when you touch those realms, you want to go back there as soon as possible). I was dosing hard doses, I thought small doses are waste of LSD, I was going for 500 ugs or more. I had my vial and sheets, and I knew exactly how much they were dosed, because I was very close to people who had access to crystal, so I could very well know the dosage. My vial was dosed 200 ugs per drop, so I liked to start my trip with at least 3 drops and maybe add few more later in the trip. I also liked very much to mix things, like addind huge like of K to acid trip, or MDMA, mushrooms and DMT. Pretty much I liked it hard core, with also smoking weed on a daily bases. So, after a year of dosing like that, I realised that I didn't have a migrene not even once that year, that I had only few headaches and they were mostly due to hangover from alcohole next day, nothing that panadol wouldn't handle. So, to cut the story short, I was living like that until two years ago when I moved to Australia, and since then I was sober, maybe had a few pots and thats all. In these 2 years, I had a migrene 2 or 3 times. Its not that bad, but it came back, while I never had not even one for about 7-8 years while I was dosing regularly. So, if your husbant is suffering from migrenes, it is worth while to try dosing, I am pretty sure it will help him, maybe not to remove them completely, but at least to make them less often and milder. He can try 2 approaches, to dose hard 500 ugs or more once a month, or to microdose every week. If he is not that much in to tripping, maybe giving him 1/2 a hit every week would be the best approach, but its up to him. Maybe when he got next migrene, give him a 1/4 or 1/2 of a hit, just to see if it helps (I am pretty sure it would) and then he can decide on his own. And to add few things on top of that, it was not only migrenes that were gone while I was dosing, also alergies, since I am pretty much alergic on dust mights, polen and few more things. My eyes would be completely red and ichy, sneezing and nose completely blocked. Since I started dosing, all those alergies are gone, even now when I stopped dosing. Peace and Love!!!
Okay, I now understand what you're saying, but they DID show a bottle with the whole name 2-Bromo Lysergic Acid Diethylamide, and to me it sounds like that specific aspect of them calling it "bromo" was just because it's easier to say in conversation. They did say it was a form of LSD. I don't think it's a case of how they call it in the documentary. I DO understand the concern, though, how they were pulling the headache solving part away from the tripping part, and that's something to think about-that not only would your headache be healed on LSD but the psychedelic effects would be of extra benefit and give you a big reassuring experience. I get what you're trying to say by having the psychedelic experience stripped away. It will certainly be a huge mistake if 2-Bromo LSD is legalized for prescription, and that's the complete end of it. If both are, then that's a good choice for patients who, personally, do not feel ready to handle the psychedelic effects, but LSD should definitely not be ruled out in this field. Period. Sorry if I'm a bit rambly, by the way.
