I dream this now and then. I'm walking and the neighborhood becomes unfamiliar. Or I'm driving home and the streets becoming unknown. I ask people for info and somehow I don't get the right answer. That dream bugs me sometimes. .
Hi Shaggie For understanding in a dream first define the type of dream you are having. In this case you are dreaming a reflective dream created by your energy Being, reminding you to stretch your awareness with new experiences. Imagine you are standing in front of a mirror. Your reflection is backwards. So it is with this type of dreaming. Take the images or feeling and see them from a different perspective, and without the emotional attachment of being lost. The dream then comes out asking for attention and asking you to face yourself and why you are here in this role and place you find yourself at the moment. This is an akashic self check to see if you are still on tract with where you want to go and what you want to accomplish in this life. Your spirit and Higher Self long to break out of the old and to face the new. Fear is not understanding who you are in the moment. Face the fear and do something you have never done before. Break an old pattern, or habit or create a new one. This will change the message of this repeat dream.
It seems to me that you seem to lack direction in your life. You keep "losing your way" because you're not sure what to do next, or you're simply indecisive on a very important issue. Finding your way home is a metaphor for something else. God knows what Freud would've made out of this...
Leave dream analysis to the experts :toetap05: Signed Dr. Sigmund Freud ...lol... Seriously though I suspect you’re probably right shaggie is experiencing some form of crisis and is uncertain about the proper course of action. Hotwater
