i am only looking for legitimate constructive advice. i need lyrica for my anxiety. neurontin used to do the trick now it does not. it sucks because i could easily get a prescription for xanax or other lobotomies-in-a-pill but something safer and more effective like lyrica my insurance company needs a preauthorization for. my doctors are fine writing me a prescription in my request, but know nothing of its use other than for nerve pain. i need a recommendation as to how to find a doctor that will write me a preauthorization for this drug so that i don't have to pay the ridiculous 288 dollars for 90 150 mg pills. is it even possible for insurance to cover this drug for something other than nerve pain?
i cant, dont know how to answer this.. my veterans insurance dont even cover them, I would have ask for approvals also..
