Although this movie isn't so much a comedy, there isn't really any other section to put it in. So, has anybody else seen this movie. I personally think it's the greatest movie ever made, so if you haven't seen it, it's definitely worth checking out. If you have seen it, am I just crazy for positively loving this movie?
I liked the part when the grandpa OD'd and they had to steal the body from the hospital. It's one of those darker comidies I would say.
I loved it too. I like movies with good morals...that kind of sounds wrong, but if you like the movie, you know what I mean. (not what most people might think of as "good morals") I think part of it is kind of a coming of age movie. The way the girl really wanted to be in a beauty pagent and win, but then is forced to realize it's all a bunch of bullshit.. It's something that happens on one level or another to a lot of kids growing up...and probably adults too. I don't see a lot of great movies, but compared to most popular movies I think it was excellent. I saw this movie around the same time called "Pieces of April" which was also very cool. You might like that if you liked Little Miss Sunshine. (I love this scene in Pieces of April when the mother falls asleep in the car, and for a second the though that she might have died crosses everyone's mind.)
