im using a light system with lil blue and red lights the size of xmas string lights (no idea what kind of light it is. using someone elses light) is the color gonna affect the sex of the plant?... ok and also i have another question.... i kinda was scootin the terra cotta pot across the floor and made an oopsy. the whole pot tipped over but luckily i saved it. it wasnt too razzled by the accident. but will that make it a male? im sure all the stress is just doing terrible things to it and its only like a week or so old. is there a surefire way of ensuring it turns out female? without getting too chemically or expensive? im sure im asking alot. but thanks 4 any help
A trace amount of N in germination and when young is ment to produce a higher chance of females in 50/50 seeds worked for me last time I tried this but was also the last time I saw any hermies. Stress can turn a plant male be it light enviomental or physical damage but stress can also produce bumper yields and weed out hermie's. As for little blue and red lights, just cos a light shines red or blue dont mean it will grow plants what ya looking for is the colour rating K. 2000k red and 4000k blue. Summer sun has more blue and as the year goes by to winter it has more red hence why we would use different colours for veg and bloom. And as for the title of ya post I prefer the light off lol
