sewing other peoples dreads into your own???

Im just wondering how many people find it weird to sew somebody elses dreads onto your own??? I was contemplating extending some of mine with my boyfriends....mostly cuz I want some length and he has a bag full of old dreads that match mine in color.....:afro:

I think it would be strange to go up to a stranger in a bar and asking them for some dreads but buying your hair and making them and then sticking them in or using some from someone you know, not a big deal at all.

Eh, I say go for it. If I still had my exs (and didn't totally despise him) I would've done it. I hate that mine are so short.

 

Ddoo iit! Then take lots of pictures. It's so awesome he 1)used to have dreads 2) keeps them in a bag 3) is giving them to you

 

Walking would become difficult. As would watching each other have a number two, that would be quite unpleasant.

 

my bf's bag of dreads are still sitting in the closet and I wish I could sew one on but his were really fat and his hair is black so nothing about them would match up to mine lol

 

definitely do it, it sounds perfect! just sew them onto the strongest point at the end of them. put up pics stat I'm dying to see, it sounds like a dream and you can always take them out they don't cause much damage to be worried about xx

Lux....do I sew them on like I would sew fabric? Just a regular needle and thread?

I'd only think of it as weird if it was some stranger I had never met. Having some from someone I feel a connection to would be awesome.
