I cut my San Pedro down close to the base. I am wondering if there is anything else I can do to encourage prompt growth of a new pup?

Particular lighting I think can help stimulate growth but that might be somewhat expensive with cactus. How was your San pedro trip yesterday?

Very, very light. A pleasant day. Woke up feeling great for the dental work today. Looking forward to doing a real mescaline extraction and maybe taking close to a gram near Near Year's Eve. :sunny:

Cutting too close to the ground will kill the cactus. The longer segments on mine branched more, coming from the base and from the cut edge. This isn't exactly the best time of year to cut it, if it's drawing natural light, or is outside...

You cut close to the base with established roots. the pups will come during the early summer months. Your roots will be fine. just keeep em warm and in the light. Try not to over water it right now with the cold.

I feel your obsession with the sacred cacti spicey. Im rootin for you over hear.
