I was born in Montreal, but have been living in the United States for awhile, so I have some knowledge of the city, I have about a grade 8 or 9 comprehension of French, mostly just from hearing my family from Quebec speak. I was just wondering where the best place would be for me to get a place to live and get a job, hopefully enroll in school. I just love Montreal and want to move back there, and I want to get really good at speaking French. I havent really been there as an adult. My mom was telling me that around Mont-Royal is really nice with the Victorian Architecture. So what do you guys think?
Im thinking eventually Ill be able to enroll in school there, for now though Im okay with just holding down a job, like a cook or something, and sharing an apartment or something, just to be on my own and I dont know of any other place Id rather be. Its pretty easy to get around and all that, and its familiar.
from some of the sigs you've had I would suggest an apartment close to wherever the Canadiens play their hockey games
Toronto and Montreal the greatest hockey rivals. That's one of my main goals, season tickets by all means..
I live in the plateau. It started to get invaded by hipsters though. It is the best spot to do drugs in the city, though. I love living in the plateau since its pretty much in the centre of all the heppenings of the city, with the mountain, every possible drug dealer, big park a block away and all the bars/clubs/venues. What street is this, btw?
