    why,. a person could buy a 4 season tent for less than $500.00, they can withstand temperatures well below zero in the winter.. more wind resistant than some homes...

    i love this house, its just like a little hobbit home! I would be ridiculously happy living in a house like that.

    No kiddin', took em' all day to approve mine. Was starting to think I went too far off topic. :D

    I think I want mine underground a bit more, better insulation, more resistant to tornadoes etc but pretty much same design. just more dirt ontop, garden included. Ooooh, I'll have all my carrots and tubers and such growing right over the kitchen then I'll be able to open a panel and pull them down without ever having to go outside!! :dizzy2:

    ive known about that house for a while now. cob is an awesome building material. i hope to have a cob house some day. i love that look too.
