Protests Mount Against TSA Body Scans and Pat Downs

which would i prefer?

I'd rather not be touched by a TSA employee... Walking through something that scans seems much more appealing that getting groped.

 

I object to backscatter for health reasons. Granted, a minor risk, but it's not their body but mine they are radiating!

I tolerate pat down, but prefer to simply take off all my clothes in a private room, show the TSA that I have nothing to hide and put them back on.

I am nude in the locker room at the community gym while changing into and out of workout clothes. I am nude in the doctor's office with a female nurse present. Why not undress for a minute or two at a private room in the airport?

We are going to a lot of trouble to avoid being naked for a few seconds in a private screening. I prefer to do things the easy way. This one is a no-brainer for me.

 

I would prefer, strange way to have to word that considering the topic, a body scan. I would rather not have a pat down from someone I do not know if I can avioid that.

If I was traveling frequently though I would opt for the pat down due to the continued exposure to a scan.

 

if people wanna bitch and moan about airport conditions and boarding arrangements.. I suggest they go out and purchase a 5 million dollar airplane of their own.. See how long this last, if you want to take passengers on your plane. Will you let them bring anything they want on your plane?... Or will you keep up with technology and scan them.. :sultan:

We should just take the bus to wherever we are going. You see the countryside a lot better from the ground. If you cross the country, you have several days to party with your fellow passengers and it costs less than flying and you will eventually get to your destination.

 

I'd rather not fly. The whole 'nation security' thing is getting ridiculous.

It's very hard to trust the government on this one. First they tell us genitals are "blurred out" -- false, they need to see genitals because if they blurred them out, that's where the terrorists would put the stuff. Then they tell us the images can not be stored, the machines are designed that way -- again false, it's come out that some images, altho I think it was a training exercise, were stored and transmitted.

I think it's pretty much a hoax designed to get the American public to think they are safe, without actually being safe.

I voted scan..Id rather get a bit of radiation than have a strange person touch me

 

i'd rather some waste of life person have to deal with touching me then sign away my rights in the scanner machine line
