Now that makes more sense :cheers2: Who doesn’t have a tv set in practically every room of the house including the master bedroom, the kitchen, the den, and in the spare bedroom Hotwater
I have one in my bedroom that is always running while I am there. It serves many purposes: entertainment, sound barrier, illusion of connection to the rest of the world. It's nothing fancy... had to be small so it can fit on top of my dresser. I'm moving in with my fiance soon, though, so I won't need it so much once I actually have people to hang out with. God this sounds pathetic... I promise I'm not emo. :sunny:
No, and I wouldn't want one. I can't even imagine it in my room, seems kind of unnatural :-/ I'm one of those people who believe that TV doesn't belong in the bedroom.
i'd prefer not to have one anywhere, but it's the only thing that keeps me company these days. maybe one day i won't feel like i need one.
I don't have a bedroom. I don't even have a bed. lol I sleep on a couch in the living room, and there is a tv in the living room, so I guess I technically have a tv in my bedroom. lol
I have a little 13" TV with one of those DVD players built-in. Every once in a while I'll watch a movie, but it usually collects dusk or I use it as a shelf to stack my clothes on.
Doing anything in your bedroom besides sleeping and sex is a recipe for bad sleep habits and worse quality sleep. And putting a TV/computer in a child's room is one of the most damaging parenting choices you can make beyond the big abuse/neglect rainbow.
True. I mostly associate my bedroom with sleeping and studying. TV would just ruin that, it's an unnecessary distraction. Same with my laptop actually, but I keep it anywhere in the house and carry it around.
i haz one, but its not plugged in. no real reason why its in there outside the fact that my parents put it there when they got a new one for there room. i used to have one plugged in, but i get much better sleep now that i dont' use a tv in my bedroom.
we used to have one in the bedroom, but I took it out, I do not sleep well with noise going on,a nd cable is kinda overrated. so for now we have netflix. No longer even have cable.
No t.v in the bedroom, don't watch alot of t.v to begin with. My parents have on in theirs tho, they like watching a show together before they fall asleep.
I always said that there would never be a TV in the bedroom. He actually has been really good natured about it. He watches TV and I rarely do. I might watch 4 hours in a week, if that. Before we had more compatible sleeping patterns so I never felt badly saying no. Now we do not so I was reconsidering as with not sleeping as much as I did before it seems rather punitive to say no TV then for him. Still need to think a bit about it as I am afraid it will then be on all the time and it will be on when I want to sleep. So I have to decide if I can live with that.
I have one. I watch Letterman and some morning news. I'm smarter than my tv so when I decide to go to sleep I just turn it off and it has no way to mess up my sleep patterns
