    Tragic!

    I love and hate that my car automatically cuts the lights on when it's dark. I never actually have to turn them on which means I never leave them on! But if I ever want to sit in my car at night unnoticed with the engine running I can't turn them off...

    all cars go dark when the emergenct break is activated and the lights are in the off position...kills the day time running lights too:mickey:

    ^^ya..I love that feature

    mine even turns the wipers on automatic if I leave it in delay they stay off when no rain ..go slow with drizzle and fast when pouring all by themself :D

    canada has different things than many other countries...a lot of others dont have daytime lights requirements

    mine come on only when in drive

    Really? I just went to run outside and try it but I just realized I let my roommate take my car to work lol.

    I'm sure as hell trying it as soon as she gets back!

    yeah, i never noticed the emergency brake thing either.

    i'm just worried that my next vehicle will have manual lights again, and i'll be so used to my current automatic lights that i'll never remember to turn them on.

    Yeah, I know what you mean. My last car was manual and I was pulled over more than once for forgetting to cut them on!

    On some cars you have to engage the parking brake, shut off the ignition and then start the car again.
