Marc Emery Imprisoned in Georgia by Feds

    The so-called 'Prince of Pot' is being held in a Federal Correctional Institute in Georgia. Originally told he would be kept in California to be near his wife (who lives in Vancouver), authorities now plan to move him to the state of Georgia. A pretty far distance for anyone to travel for a visit.

    A quick check of the Federal Prison Locator website reveals that he is now in Oklahoma. You can check on any Federal Prisoner's location using this website: http://www.bop.gov/iloc2/LocateInmate.jsp

    We are sure that Mr. Emery would like letters of support to get through the next five years of prison. Using the site above you can find a prisoner and his contact information.

    What a bunch of BS. I wouldn't be surprised if they move him on a regular basis, just to make his life shit for the next 5 years. I quess it doesn't pay to piss off the feds. One day all this marijuana bullshit will be behind us. No one deserves to be jailed for doing something that doesn't harm anyone, including themselves.

    Why is he not broken out of custody yet? Thousands and more in the areas are aware of the situation. Dr. King once said "An injustice somewhere, is an injustice Everywhere". This is a GRAVE injustice. One man, selling one seed, is put in a FEDERAL PRISON for for the next 1,800 waking days!!

    Does no one cry out against injustice!!

    The Inmate Locator link provided (entry 1 this thread) states that I can only send e-mail to Mr. Emery following approval of his request that I be put on his contact list. As a general member of the public I do not have the right to send e-mail to him. Since he's never heard of me, he will not be putting me (or anyone else) on his contact list unless I request someone he knows, such as a family member, to contact him. At this time I'm not sufficiently involved with his case to do that.

    Meanwhile, here's my message to Marc:
    "You're right, they're wrong. Keep your head up. You'll be released one day."
