but im gonna MAKE this relate to acid, so last weekend i tripped two days in a row and was listening to dubstep (i love dubstep, house, trance, all that electronic shit) and i had never been so motivated to create music that bad in my life, to be on stage in front of hundreds of people tripping face and just bringing them through MY experience that I control, couldnt take it.

im a pretty good musician, i play guitar + bass fairly decently, i just started learning how to use production software and i decided to fuck with it a little extra more after that trip,

so here is my track, my first attempt at dub-step, its nothing special but im still learning the basics, producing is some hard stuff. I hope you guys like it.

EDIT: its a shitty file hosting site and you have to click download and captcha and shit, sorry i would youtube it but it has my full name on it

Wanna hear it, wanna hear it, wanna hear it! Amazing how psychedelics like LSD and DMT open the doors of creativity in our heads!

If I were you I wouldn't make this about acid and I'd embrace music by it's own merits.

Producing isn't hard. If you want to trip while you create, go with Ableton

Im going to have to disagree with you on that, the possibilities of creativity are unlimited with programs like ableton and reason, you can never learn all there is to know. And i would love getting ableton live if i could afford it :)

    uhm thanks?

im posting it on acid forums because people who generally listen to this type of music are into psychedelics.

so has anyone actually listened to it yet?

yea im a dubstep fiend and this track has some real potential, dubstep is all about the lead in then the drop, a drop that hits you like a ton of bricks is what i love the whomp whomp wobble factor of dubstep oof i love it, but yea, keep it up, so far so good

Defiantly got potential! This is pretty dirty, and you can defiantly tell the LSD influence. What did you use to produce this?

Dude I know exactly how you feel too, I'm right behind you, I've made about 3 tracks so far. Just need to actually buy fruity loops so I can convert them to mp3. It seriously like an infection, it hit me almost as hard as acid hit me, one day I was normal, then boom dubstep took over! Now I want to womp the world out!

pirated fruity loops nine and reason 6 is what i used,

yea i know, i really wish i was better at building up and dropping it but my best try was like at 2:18 on that track. I just need to get better at manipulating low frequencies to make the drop like WHHHHHHOOOOOMMMMMPPPPP

not bad man. the lyrical tone def needs some working on as well though.

see, now doesn't this seem rather egotistical? should the music really be centered around yourself? imo, a humble approach to music is necesary to create anything of real value.

yea it does, but since im a human being and have desires and wants i see nothing wrong about wanting to be on a stage in front of a crowd throwin beats at them, like i said i have been a musician for a while now, its not like i picked up the guitar at age 14 because i wanted to get famous, its because i wanted to make music. I have been writing a lot of music throughout my life and i do it because i love music, its a huge part of my life, so i dont see why you would think my only goal is to benefit from the music i make
