Im changing my number 3 to Chipotle. Eventhough taco bell is way cheaper, chipotle is so much better and I usually get a few items at t.bell anyways so often its basically the same price.

I have not been down to Wooster St in years and have not heard of Abate's. Did Abate's take over The Spot?

Not sure, they've been around for a while, as long as I can remember so at least 15 years or so.

    1. Wendy's - The best fast food chain imo. burgers, chicken, salads, everything!
    2. Subway - $5 footlong. For when I don't feel like being a fat ass.
    3. McDonalds - Only becasue of mc chicken jr's and $1 drinsk in the summer. Everythign else sucks.

    local places..

Barney's - Best wings I've ever had from a pizza place. They are actually amazing as hell and not that expensive. Not scrawny little sissy wings you usually get from pizza places. About 50 cents a wing, 30 for $15. Deliver in 15 minutes to my house everytime.

Louis's Pizza - Best pizza in my area hands down. They use eggs in their bread or something, it looks yellow and has a texture like no other pizza crust I've tried. Little tiny restaurant that's packed even on weekdays.

S&G Fries - Best poutine in my area. Fuckin' love poutine.

    1. Panera bread... they are kinda pricey for a broke person but so goood... their soups, sanwhiches, salads, bread.. its all good.. I REALLY like the soup in a bread thing.
    2. Mcdonalds... hot & spicy's fries and those angus burgers.
    3. Dairy queen.. ice cream, steak finger baskets, gravy, fries.. almost everything.
4.Whataburger... their burgers are so big and yummy.
5.taco stands... there aren't many here where i live though.
    6. Cicis pizza... mmmm!!! I love the spinach pizza.

and wendys frostys, churches, and popeyes...
i am always broke so i allow myself to eat out once a week if its expensive and twice a week if they are cheaper places... but they sure do tease me.
I couldn't just pick a few.... all of these palces were jsut going through my head. I have never had so many places in a town before right by me.

I disagree about jack having better burgers than mc donalds... i think that jack's burgers doesn't have much flavor. Their tacos are pretty cheap and yummy though.

    1. Whataburger - A bacon and cheese whataburger, no pickles, mayo instead of mustard, grilled onions and jalapenos. Breakfast Taquitos. You can't get that at no In-N-Out. :)
    2. Chick-fil-a - I love their chicken, and their new spicy sandwich is really good.
    3. Subway - because it's the healthiest option when I don't crave anything in particular. Buffalo chicken sandwich with light ranch is real good.

    Local joints:
    1. El Rey - Two words: Cuban tacos. Amazing and open late.
    2. Bullritos - Local burrito franchise in Houston. It's like Chipotle but much better IMO. Their cilantro ranch is really tasty.

Wow, I'm really hungry now. :sifone:

In n out actually pays their employees more than most chain places, they start off at $10 an hour. Money is a good motivational factor to be nice to customers.

I'm really picky. Most Mexican places use a lot of onions, I can't stand onions. Taco Bell doesn't load my shit up with onions.

fast food is garbage. it is fast for a reason and the reason is that it is highly processed and loaded with chemicals. all fast food literally has a slurry of neurotoxins and hormones that make you fat and addicted to food. i eat real food. real food is slow.

I've eaten fast food nearly every day of my life for 4 and a half years. And I've actually lost weight. I'm not suggesting it, but when it's free, it's free.

I HATE KFC and McDonalds. They both just make me feel sick.

    1. Nando's
    2. Fuddruckers
    3. Spudulike

The first two are debatable as 'Fast Food' places. They tend to believe they're in a better league than fast-food chains. I also live in the UK and we don't have Fuddruckers here at all. Makes me sooo sad! And Spudulike is awesome. I didn't even like baked potatos until I discovered Spudulike. What's great about Spudulike though is that I don't feel like shit after I've eaten it. I generally wash it down with a small Apple Tango too. One of the very rare times I have a fizzy drink!

There was a time when Subway would have made it to my top 3. I actually only ever have the vege option from them but the place makes me feel sick. It's disgusting.

My 2 fav local eating places are Jamie's Italian (one of Jamie Oliver's restaurants) and my local Indian take-away. I'm Indian so I'm fussy with Indian food but this one is awesome. And I love Jamie's, there's one just up the road from me.

Honorable mentions: Domino's Pizza and Wagamama. Nice!

there is plenty of real good food that is fast. Turkey sandwich or tuna or salad is what I can think of right now. plus like if you grill salmon at home it does not take that long. like as long as it will take to go drive through a fast food place you could grill some salmon.

but I do agree that most fast food mexican and burger joints are not the highest quality food or the best for you. but I eat out a lot haha. I probaly will have bad cholestorol when I am older. I do exercise a lot though so I can eat as much as I want and not gain weight.

I'm the same way...used to eat fast food and was noticeably chunkier. 6'4 170lbs but probably like 15% or more body fat...now am 6'4 150 with like 4-5% body fat and the only fast food places I'll visit are pita places, subs and occasionally pizza/wings. Fast food isn't even appetizing to me anymore... $6 for a crappy hamburger on a crappy white bun. Some horrible "fries" covered in salt, soaked in grease and an enormous cup of corn syrup and carbonated water..no thanks I'll pass.
