Feeling so dissilusioned

your only 22, your whole life is in front of you, plenty of time yet to fulfil a dream or two.

 

Here's another way to look at it. Dissatisfaction gets shit done. When we are satisfied we don't have any incentive to change anything we just accept the status quo and go with it. When we aren't satisfied a fire gets lit under our ass then we get up and do something. Anything really. Even if it is the wrong thing we just do it.

As for being a famous artist it's almost like you have to die first unless you are into Tattoos or Graffiti. Your chances of winning the lottery are almost better. That doesn't mean that you should give up doing it. Shit you can still paint and write. You can still enjoy painting and maybe sell a piece once in a while. You can still write and put out an anthology or get your work in an anthology or two. But I'll dedicate this song to you:

yeah man i wanted to be a photographer u just gotta keep moving forward, its wierd cuz ive had some of my best time when things were at their worst and finally getting there wasnt what it was all about. the best part of life is the trip.
