i like bob marley

do you like bob marly? i like him because he makes me happy

 

He's no Bob Dylan, but he is awesome.

 

the thing i like most about bob marley is he lived the message he was sending through his songs. there are very few artist out there today, or at any time really, that have actually tried to do something through their music, instead of being all talk and no action. i love bob marley and all his music, but even more than that, i respect him as a person, which i think is most important

is the greatest artist in world history. period.
his message, the message of peace, love, rastafarianism, and tranquility, plus the hardships of his childhood..... makes nice songs.
yeah last night i had all his albums that finished downloading....
let me tell you, 13 bob marley albums at one is hard to handle....

 

I don't think I've ever met anyone who doesn't like Bob Marley. He's a badass.

i've met a few people. thing is, they can't ever really back up why they don't. and in most instances, the people that don't like him are either metal heads or pop-heads. go figure...

Its just i personaly think he is overated , like the beatles...it just an acepted widly held belief that Bob marley is great. Well i just don't agree, not realy to be diffrent , I just can't bare to listen to his records .... simple as that.

 

well you're very right, when you say a widely accepted belief. but what about the people that have actually discovered the music themselves, without going to magazines like rolling stone to find out who the best "classic rock or reggae" artist is? i grew up listening to bob and all my opinions are strictly my own, partially influenced by others, but since i was a kid i've always held marley to the highest extent. but that's just me though cause i'm sure there are plenty of people out there that listen to him purely for the fact that he's "good smoking music" or "good reggae music" or "what everyone else is listening to."

and we all have our opinions bro, didn't mean to offend or anything.

I do like Bob Marley (but still like Bob Dylan better : unrelated) He is amazing. We walked tht fine line between polotics and pop and barely lived to tell the tale. Jah bless him.
