National Trans Day

    According to my local news today is 'National Trans Day'. A day to remember those who have been killed due to trans related hate crimes.

    dude ..if its to remember those murdered..i dont think ''happy'' is appropriate at all

    ...its like saying happy remembrance day...

    Yea, I contemplated not putting that in there. All I meant was have a good day, and that it's cool that they have a recognized day.

    I said it because there were trans people on the news out parading, celebrating happily. I didn't feel it was that out of line.

    is there such thing as a 'hate crime' and 'suspect class' in the UK?

    i can't believe people would kill transsexuals..are people that closeminded? i'm happy hate crimes don't happen much here in belgium..only for racial reasons.. actually any kind of gay people are accepted by society here these days.
