    Guns ARE out! Played out!

Like better silence? Get you a Bow and Arrow, and get about 17 arrows to place in a shoulder pack, and then you'll survive and defend in any situation.

I dont prefer crossbows since it can't be fed quickly like a bow and arrow can. You can keep a bow and arrow in your car with no weird license. No license weapons are in!!!

Get down to Dunam's or Sport's Authority RIGHT AWAY, then thank me about it later.

ARCHERY IS IN!!!! Let the law makers take away your right to bear TRACEABLE firearms, but they know they can't take away your right to buy non-firearm (and non-TRACEABLE) BOWS OR non-firearm (and non-TRACEABLE) CROSSBOWS.

Why buy something with a trace log or track log on it? Are you stupid?

I own neither but I think it'd be cool to have a bow and arrow.
And know how to use them.

Do NOT count on bows and crossbows remaining legal !!!!!

There is a call to ban crossbows in Australia:
    http://au.news.yahoo.com/thewest/a/-/breaking/7004151/crossbow-ban-move-after-death/

In any case, Crossbows and compound bows are considered a "controlled weapon" in Australia, and improper possession can result in a fine and imprisonment.

    Some other recent history:

    The U.K. banned all handguns:
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Firearms_(Amendment)_(No._2)_Act_1997

Two years later, after all law-abiding citizens had surrendered their guns, handgun crime was up substantially:
    http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/uk_news/1440764.stm

This should come as no surprise to those who understand that guns are mere tools. The morality of a tool depends only on the person using it.

A few years after that there was a call by medical doctors in the U.K. to ban all kitchen knives:
    http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/4581871.stm

(sarcasm) You see, you shouldn't be allowed to cook, because you MIGHT decide to stab your family. This is all for your own good, you see? (/sarcasm)

Sooo... Do NOT count on bows and crossbows remaining legal.

I have two other main points:

    1) There are always attempts to limit your freedoms under the guise of protecting you from some evil, real or imagined. Many within governments live to deprive citizens of their rights and freedoms. Do not ever trust anyone who wants to take away any freedom. Ever. Period. The intentions of those who want to take away freedoms are anything but noble.

    2) Do not ever say that "it can't happen here." It can, and it will if the people let it. Never support a ban or loss of freedom, even if the thing that is currently being banned is something you despise. The next thing to be banned may be something that is vital to your life.

Remain vigilant. Be politically active. Work for justice, human rights and freedoms.

Many here may agree with the idea that governments should ban and confiscate all possible weapons from all citizens. If you feel that way you should also consider outlawing civilian access to cars, and for that matter, rocks and sticks. In fact, if you feel that way, you should outlaw the human body because it is possible to kill someone with bare hands.

Instead, I prefer to strongly argue for individual freedoms, with severe penalties for those who commit violence except in self defense.

As to the original question: No, I do not have any bows nor crossbows. But I DO support your right to own them and use them responsibly!

Automatic cocking crossbow, with whisper-quiet CO2- powered internal cocking mechanism that is operated by simply pushing a button. Draws the bowstring into the fully cocked position in two seconds.
