Do any fathers have advice or experience teaching thier sons to pee standing up? My son is 4 years old and I want to teach him so he can learn how. His mother potty trained him to sit down.

to tell you the truth... you have to use your own hose to teach a young fireman .. unless youre one them parents, that dont want to show their children your own nudity.. Time has come to teach the child that your hose is the same thing he has.. Only you are older and this is how its done.. Im going to agree with Glen. Best to train outside cause the aim aint going to be good... And the whole reason the Lady has him sitting down, is so she has no pee to clean up off the floor..
I don't have a firehose and I managed to teach both sons, thanks. I stood behind them and showed them how to aim it. Pretty simple.
Because small boys have very short penises, they need to pull their trousers and underpants down until the penis eventually grows long enough to stick out well past the fly, but otherwise, it's just a matter of making sure they aim for the middle of the bowl. Like that Cheerios advise! Boys love that sort of thing.
I don't see why people have such difficulty with this. I was a single mom when my son asked if he could pee like big boys do (standing up). So all I did was walk in there with him, tell him to hold his penis so the pee goes into the bowl, and that was that. No magic aiming tricks necessary. He was barely tall enough for his penis to be over the rim when he was standing, so there was no aiming really. Just hold it in place and go. It's not all that complicated.
