Fact- I once had a cat who could and would open doors. It once managed to lock itself in the washroom and I had to break the door off its hinges to get it out.

 

I know-many time cats are just too smart for their own good.

Be really careful and do not expose your feet to heat right now. Slowly warm them up. Any discoloration get medical attention. It can cause more damage if you heat them up fast.

Cat do seem smarter than most other domestic pets though. I like how they act like they just don't give a damn about most things.

Ha, that's true. That reminds me of this Jerry Seinfeld material. He jokes about how if aliens ever watched humans, the dogs leading them around then the humans having to bend over and pick up their shit, the aliens would think that dogs rule the planet. In a way they very much do rule their owners. lol

 

There sometimes comes a time when they no longer give a shit what you think...and there's nothing you can do to appease them even if you want to...
