Hey, I wasn't sure where to post this, but I figured that the vegs would have the most health info. Basically, I am wondering if I have a vitamin defiency or something. While, it is possible that I am a complete hypocondriac, I just don't seem to feel right. I'm always cold, feel dyhydrated regularly even though I drink tons of water, bruise easily and heal slowly, and feel tired, run down, and depressed oftentimes. I never eat meat, and eat vegan as often as possible, drink lots of juice and water, and get 6-9 hours of sleep. I work nights, which I know throws your body off somewhat, but I still try to get enough sleep. I have some symptoms of anemia and some of underactive thyroid, but nothing that has struck me as definitive. I know I could just ask a doctor, but I don't have insurance, and was hoping that I could find a solution through a little research. Besides, myabe I'm just crazy. I appreciate any advice or assistance that can be offered to me. Peace!
Yup! You're nuts all right! Really, though, it sounds like you could use a trip to the doc, if there's some way to $wing it. You may be imagining things or it could be an actual problem...it's best to find out before you get into real trouble. For research, I highly reccommend checking out sites/publications by organizations which you already trust or which can be backed up by someone credible. Forums are filled with missinformation, so any advice you get here should be cross checked for accuracy. Especially if said advice comes from me.
What do you typically eat during a day? Obviously, you ought to see a doc, but if you let us know what you've been eating, maybe something will really stand out.
I use supplements in order to prevent deficiancy...incase I don't get enough. I'm to lazy to track every vitamin...so I use supplements for almost all minerals and vitamins. And my illnesses heal mostly within one day because of the 100% vitamins I get ( I'm talking about ones like colds, and physical ailments.). Of coarse I love my multi-vitamin juices!
