    hmm... your question, the word hippie... encompasses such a huge spectrum of people. but then again, some say hippies were only the people from the 60's era, and the rest are "yuppies" or young hippies. I don't agree.
    I think, staying as vague as possible, hippie means free thinking, free minded, open minded, and fun!

    A hippie is a person who feels they are a hippie - with some commonality. Abhorrence of violence, love of nature and fellow travelers, sees little need for conventional dress norms mores. A hippie can be any age - all you have to do is claim it.
