Is there anyone here who was really angry when they found out Santa wasn't real and they had, in fact, been lied to? I've heard there are actually people who took it personally, I would just like to know why. As for me, I just naturally got older and realized that he wasn't real, but it didn't stop my world. My kids believe in Santa Claus, I will keep it going as long as they want.
my parents told me there was never a santa, so I had nothing to believe in the first place..haha, they told me they were santa
I use to believe in it, I even put oatmeal out for santas reindeer and left him milk and cookies. Eventually I figured out he wasnt real. I always sort of knew but I wanted to believe really badly.
I never believed in Santa. My mother refused to lie to me. However, as a little kid, I couldn't keep my trap shut, so I liked to tell other little kids that he wasn't real. I told my nephew, who is two years older than me, that santa wasn't real...I think I was 2 and a half...Very talkative kid...Anyway, I told him to watch on Christmas Eve, that his momma would be putting his presents under the tree and eating the cookies....So he did, and he took it so personally, that he never believed anything she ever said, ever again....:& I'm a horrible person... Uhm sure. I can see it now, hes coming down the chimney and you shoot him and take all the presents and kill the reindeer and make dinner out them Poor rudolph
i didn't get mad...but there was one point where i knew Santa wasn't real, but we were on a back road trying to get back to the highway after a christmas party and i swear i heard bells on a sleigh. there was no one else around, but i swear i remember hearing those bells which made me sort of believe again...but yea, i wasn't mad when i found out.
hahaha same here, when i was 3 they just told me all. there was no santa, no easter bunny, no tooth fairy. i didnt get upset. cuz i was only 3. but when my dad played santa at the school. he told me not to tell any of the other kids, and i did anyway (well just one person) and somehow he found out and i got in trouble. hey...when santa is your dad.....its not all that great people. haha
This thread sucks, when it was off to a good start. I don't remember ever believing in santa, but I must of. My little brother swore he saw a sign in the front yard from santa telling him not to go downstairs yet because he was down there.
