    Who here likes mood rings?
I decided randomly today to go out and buy one... well the shop I frequent (Called Solstice) had mood rings for $5... expensive but I figured what the hell. I gave to the lady, began to take out my wallet, and she said "Just take it." I looked at her, shocked and said "really?" she smiled, nodded, and said "yeah. its yours. Happy holidays."
    WOW
    there are nice people.
I just bought a collection of mood rings online too, so I'll have a bunch :)

I like them, I had a few really cool ones, but I work in a restaurant and the cleaning chemicals I deal with messes with the chemicals in the ring and screws them up. I have mood beads on the hemp choker I wear, but they're always blue, so I can only assume my neck is always the same temperature or they just are permanently blue. It's alright, though, the blue is my favorite.

Body temperature. What the particular chemical makeup is, I don't know, but I know body temperature affects the color.

    old guy story!

In the 70's I drove a truck and would bet every girl that had a mood ring, that I could make in turn purple. I must be pretty warm blooded because I had a glove compartment full of mood rings.I thought that was cool as hell until my wife started cleaning the cab of my truck one day. I told her she could have them all, but she still got pissed.

P.S. back then some of those mood ring cost 150 dollars.

Yep. I used to have them when I was younger but as they were always blue I got bored of them.
