At the age of 84, Leslie Nielsen died from the effects of pneumonia in Fort Lauderdale, FL. Other than being one of the great leading figures of slapstick comedy brought to us by the wacky minds of Abrahams, Zucker & Zucker since the 1980s, he was also a star in a lot of serious roles, such the commanding officer of space cruiser C57-D, Cmdr. Adams, in Forbidden Planet. He made me laugh, as well as others, I'm sure. And he will be missed. ~*Ganesha*~
