Hip Forums Festival/Get together?

Just a random idea. But what if like next summer or something there was just like a hip forums festival where everyone on here can come and have a good time, get to meet everyone on here and just to meet some new people. It could be like a campout or something in a place where everybody or most people would be able to go. Just throwing an idea out there cause i think it would be fun, anybody else think it would be cool? :2thumbsup:

Great idea but how me to get into USA? Not enough money...And my friends from Australia?
Maybe Ill manage to go to the biggest german hippie festival next summer there some ppl could meet...

no just little amounts I dont think Germany is such a good idea...Im sure theres better countries in europe for that...I think if there was to be a meeting would be USA

A couple years ago we tried to have a west coast hipforums gathering at a campground but only a few of us showed up, and we never tried it again. It would probably be better to have people meet up at a summertime concert or festival that's being held in your area.

There is always Underground Sound! =D And we have it in the Midwest so thats pretty neutral for the US...

This coming year will be the 7th year of Underground Sound. Over the years acts like Eoto, Bassnectar, Hallucinagen, Astral Projection, Shpongle, Rabbit In The Moon, Electric Skychurch, Evol Intent, Computer Club, Infected Mushroom, BoomBox, Glitch Mob, Lynx & Janover, Excision, Heyoka, Noise Floor Crew, Angel Alanis, Zilla, Vibe Squad, Jackal & Hyde, John B, Fort Knox Five, Aphrodite, Trash Yourself!, Charles Feelgood, Donald Glaude, Technical Itch, Tommie Sunshine, Rowland the Bastard, Baby Anne, KMFX, Dan Doormouse, Skylab 2000, Reid Speed, DJ Funk, Uberzone, Monk, & SwitchFocus - just to name a few... =D Oh and me. =D

The technical aspect is always to perfection. It is my best friend Tom's baby. He is the type to walk in any club, any festival, any concert, any rave... and tell you exactly what is wrong with the sound, lighting, lasers, etc and what they should've used. He knows his shit and it's always the best it can be.

 

I have a friend that's been to Underground sound I believe a few times, is that the one that was in a cave a few years back?

and maybe have regional meetings of the HF? like one or two for Europe, one or two for australia/NZ and a few (maybe 5-10) for the US/Canada. It would be sick, and i would def go......just could be a lot of shenanigan planning to try and get people to actually show up and arrange appropriate places to meet etc. idk.

Yea, same. I would def go to the (possible) northeast event/meeting. It would be sick! Maybe Vibes 11' for the NorthEast meeting?
