You might be inspired by positive portrayals of nudity in the media. Watching the Planets music video with a mostly nude cast of free spirits celebrating life in the woods. Elave - Internet commercial for skin care product treating nudity as our natural condition. Act Naturally trailer for a comedic movie about two estranged sisters who inherit a nudist resort. If trailer is a little slow to play on vimeo, you can also watch it on https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8J7DIBvguTk&feature=related"]Youtube Icelandic band Sigur Rós wrote the whimsical rhythmic hip ballad - Gobbledigook. It features nude young people enjoying a day in the woods.
"Watching the Planets" is truly inspirational - and makes me long for spring,. when it gets warm enough to do just what the merry folks did in that video. Nature and nudity are just meant to go together. Oh, and the song is cool, too! Wiggling bare toes, ~*Ganesha*~
Ganesha, we have a choice: either Fritz Lang's nightmare future of Metropolis or a greener path like we see in the links above. And yes, it is no coincidence that if we return to a way of life that is closer to nature, we are very likely to walk that path without clothes when the weather is warm. By the way, I think Watching the Planets is a very enjoyable song to listen to, but who can just listen? Makes you want to dance in the forest!
I'd rather choose to live barefoot and nude on Pandora - I'd just need to get one of those blue catboy bodies with a tail. All kidding aside, I do indeed feel that a preference of being barefoot and nude also triggers a gentler mindset in treating Mother Nature with love and respect. And that is something we really need nowadays. Wiggling bare toes which touch Mother Earth tenderly (instead of trampling on her with heavy boots), ~*Ganesha*~
If I ever was to be kidnapped .. I would be the least resistant to my abductors if they was all nude.. :sunny:
Hey guys, I thought this was cool too. A newspaper in South Florida wrote about a local nudist resort and the kids that are growing up there. http://blogs.browardpalmbeach.com/juice/2010/12/sunsport_gardens_family_naturist_resort.php
That's great! We hear about Florida being just for old people, but this sort of thing bucks the trend. I wish I had grown up in a nudist camp with a bunch of other kids. Well, what's done is done, but we can make the future better for the next generation. Sunsport is also host to many of Florida Young Naturists events. (They are a non-landed club for young adults, (awesome, awesome group!!!) I know we are a little off-topic, but I prefer real world nudity to media nudity any day! (Why watch it on TV when you can LIVE IT!)
Tom, I see lots and lots of vehicles with Canadian plates heading south this time of year. Some of the Florida nudist camps and resorts have HUGE Canadian neighborhoods. Unfortunately, even south Florida has the odd chilly day in December or January, but it never lasts long. It should be 74 Fahrenheit tomorrow afternoon on Haulover Beach near Miami. A little chilly for a dip in the sea, but looks like a great day for a game of volleyball or soaking in some sun.
Those aren't Canadians... those are snowbirds... flighty fickle creatures that fly away at the slightest drop in temperature....
My sis lives in Miami and she can't seem to say anything positive about it. Away from the city on nicer beaches would be nice though, with 100% body exposure to the sun.
Friends, here's an update on Act Naturally (condensed to save space): Well 2010 has come and gone...and I've been getting a lot of emails and comments lately about when Act Naturally is coming out. So I figured it's high time to give everyone an update. The fact of the matter is ...we're still not done with post yet. We're ridiculously close to the finish line. Like the last hundred yards of a ultra marathon. I assure you, we're working around the clock (literally) to finish this movie up and get it out in the world for your viewing pleasure. (snipped part of text here) That said, the score and soundtrack recording is finally completed as well as color timing. As of Dec 15th -- all of the VFX shots are finally rendered and have been inserted into our timeline too... (more snipping here) Rest assured, we ARE making progress and taking some big strides each and every week toward crossing the finishing line. Now, I will say this...if you want to see it any sooner, please go to our webpage and contribute to the cause...We're dangerously close to having enough in my piggy bank to get our cine-baby put to bed so it can wake up on screens across the world. Also, while I was home for the holidays, I started toying around with the notion of auctioning off props from the flick as well as some of the props from my music videos to bring it us on home...Let me know if that's something anybody might be interested in. Otherwise, I've gotta drum up some additional music video work in the next few months and you'll all be waiting until THOSE VIDEOS are finished before we can afford to finish post production... Thanks for all your interest and continued support guys! It means the world to me. In the meantime, check out our new Behind The Scenes http://www.actnaturallymovie.com/. Look out for more content being uploaded to the site real soon. New trailer is on the way...along with a music video containing clips from the flick along with a really fun concept that's highly appropriate for the film and perfectly compliments the performance of our title track! Stay tuned. Thanks again - J.P. Riley (author of screenplay)
